Hey Khan, Just wanna say I love your opening screen, something 50s 60s cinema about. Anyway I hope it explodes for you, I really do.

The reason most miniature paints are acrylic based is their drying time. Getting down layers of paint are pretty easy when your paint is dry in a few minutes, unlike oil paint which may take a day or three. This benefit becomes our obstacle when blending. But we can extend acrylic drying times a bit.
Keep a wet edge! When blending, blend wet on wet. When laying down initial colors paint towards the area to blend, keeping in mind you leave the most paint when you lift up your brush.
Two brush blending: a technique I rarely see is two brush blending, where you hold two brushes in the same hand, each loaded with a different color, and quickly work back and forth with the brushes. It takes a bit of practice to paint that way, but can be useful.
Use oils: oil based paint can be blended for hours. Take advantage of that. You can blend and move paint, or remove it and start again. Oils offer a lot of play time and flexibility, but aren't great when you are staring down an army to paint. Unless you have unlimited time, or a TARDIS.

Another great video. High quality content, and so well produced!
What models are you using in the video? That eldrich bull is really cool!

Thank you so much, we really appreciate the support! As to the model that is the Labyrintharous from the game Aeon Tresspass Odyssey.

@@WrathofMinis gorgeous minis, glad to see they did well on the Kickstarter. It might be an idea to add a small infobox in the corner when you show off rare/unusual models. Everyone knows what a Space Marine is, but an eldritch doombull? Now that's something new. Joined the patreon as well. Happy to support informative content that help newcomers get into the hobby :)

Wow, thank you! thats awesome! We really really appreciate that! Will definitely take the advice and try and be more mindful of putting that info out upfront. Also if you have any video ideas that you would like to see, please let us know here or through Patreon. Thanks again and glad to have you onboard!

Hey Khan! A question about paints. I've been experimenting paint brands and, so far, only Kimera, ProAcryl and Scale75 are left. What do you think of the Scale75 tubes? I like mixing colors and blending (even if I'm kind of bad and new at all of this). Was eyeing the basic set for some mixing and to try them out.
    Thanks!

Hey, so I really do like Scale 75 tube paints and I have their entire collection but if i had to choose for someone who was interested in mixing colors and such I would go with Kimera’s Base Set. It’s more expensive but it has more colors which really allow you to mix and try different things out. If experimentation is the point then i think that is right way forward.

@@WrathofMinis Thanks Khan! I will buy some more colors from the new Game Color range as I still need some more colors for my collection, but I will soon buy some Kimera to try the mixing. Have a nice weekend!
