- It's taken us a bit of time, but we've gotten through Cycle I of Aeon Trespass: Odyssey and wanted to share some hacks that we've learned along the way that have made the process easier, which is always helpful in big, campaign-style games like this one.

I love to paint miniatures of all various things from the likes of Games workshop, be it Warhammer 40000, Warhammer Fantasy, Horus Heresy, Age of Sigmar to their smaller games like Kill Team, Warcry or Warhammer Underworlds. I’ve always been a big of a fan of Space Marines -- especially the Blood Angels, the first ever army I had from 3rd edition (super looking forward to Warhammer 40K 10th edition!). At some point I’m hoping to pick up the reins and get back in miniature wargaming hopefully this new edition. Also on occasion I’ll even paint up Dungeons & Dragons minis but one thing I’ve been really loving painting is Kingdom Death Monster. Just great and interesting miniatures especially the monsters. Hopefully you’ll find that we make great painting for beginners videos plus engaging content in the general hobby related space. My solution for the map problem is to set the battle grid directly on top of the map. You have to note the location of the Argo and the Adversary beforehand, but it's worked like a charm otherwise.

After spending an exhausting day at the office, going through tons of paperwork you can finally sit down and relax with this game while doing exactly the some exhausting red tape.
Great suggestions - I invested in a small-medium sized collapsable table for the map, most of the time you dont need to lay it all out and avoiding tear down and setup for battles saved a huge amount of time. Box setup wise i used a similar process for all the tokens and terrian (although wasn't keeping the zig zag pieces vertically - definitely going to adopt that). I moved all the technology cards to binders (cycle specific) with the corresponding gear cards that the technology creates. That meant i had plenty of space in the box insert for sleeved cards and baggies for the different mini card selections. Expect the binder upgrade in the latest kickerstarter will probably be similar?
Anyway great video as always! Hope you guys enjoy cycle 2 and maybe some more primordial painting videos for that set (found the temos one very helpful!)

one thing I do with games that have a lot of dice and tokens is to buy large handman/screw/bolt boxes and store all of that in those, free's up room inside the box and keeps tokens in order and easy to find/get too.
I play a lot of campaign games as well.
App is beautiful but cannot beat pencil and paper feel and smell. I don't even find it faster, less fiddly but not faster.
