    Pattern from www.soapsacks.com/. Recommended crochet hook = H (5.0mm) or I (5.5mm)
    • Make a slip knot on hook and chain 5.
    • Join last chain to the first with a slip stitch to make a ring.
    • Round 1: Chain 1, work 12 dc in ring, join with slip stitch.
    • Round 2 (increase): Chain 1, *work 2 dc in next dc, dc in next dc; repeat from * around, join with slip stitch-you’ll have 18 dc.
    • Round 3 (increase): Repeat Round 2-you’ll have 27 dc.
    • Round 4: Chain 1, dc in each dc around, join with slip st in beginning chain
    • Rounds 5-10: Repeat Round 4.
    • Round 11: Chain 1, sc in each dc around, join with slip st in beginning chain.
    • At the end of Row 11, chain 14. Join end of chain to the edge of the sackwith a slip st and fasten off. Weave in ends.
Approximate size of finished soap sack: 4 x 6 inches

Where can I find a list of places in my area to donate the soap sacks? Do the bars have to be individually wrapped or can they be unwrapped and placed in the sacks? Any particular size bar soap?

How many inches wide should a soap sack be? Mine seem to be coming out very wide 🤷‍♀️soap fits and I’m sure it’s fine but want to get it right

The camera should be on what you’re doing, could be difficult for beginners.

Also, the soap sacks seem to get mushy easy when soap is left in them after a shower. I hang mine up to dry but end up with a soapy mess. I wonder what would help? Do certain soaps not melt so easily?

It might be best to take the soap out of the sack until it dries.

@@stacywiener7071I agree they get very mushy. It defeats the whole purpose of the soap sack if you have to take it out to dry

Which yarn or types of yarn wash well besides the 100% cotton. I use sugar and cream for making washcloths. That works well but I have so many beautiful yarns i'd like to try but they don't seem to wash well. Do you have any ideas for good yarn that will wash well

Premier Home yarn is another great washcloth yarn. I have also used Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie and Hobby Lobby Crafter Secret---both work really well.

I'm sorry, but filming it this way would confuse beginners.
