    I’d like to see 2.5” level with 35” and a stock offset. Show us how to get maybe a 34.8” to fit without rubbing or trimming. A lot of us want a 35” tire without a 4-6” lift. I hear it possible maybe 11 wide instead of 12.5. Let’s make it happen.

    That's Odd. How about using the Stock Wheels? I have a 2.5" Leveled 2020 F150 running Nitto Ridge Grappler's 35x12.5x20 on Stock Wheels with no rubbing at all. I think the offset is what your problem is. Why are you determined to use a ZERO Offset for your video? There are many other options out there that WILL FIT. I think Stock Ford 20" Sport Wheels are a +44 offset. I think your video is a bit misleading for people who don't understand what offset is. (Your You-Tube question is, Will 35's fit on a 2021 F150 with 2.5" level Kit?) The real answer is YES but, you have to use the right offset.

      @Ray S- because we like to speak in absolutes. We didn't have access to 35x12.5"s (the most popular size we sell) on a stock wheel/offset so therefore we couldn't test them, nor could we speculate on them fitting without testing. Far too often in the truck world there is too much speculation on what *might* fit based off of what some dude said on a forum as opposed to showing something in black and white. So we took the most popular fitment range we sell and gave it a try- and it didn't work. But now our customers know! Will we try this tire on a stock offset to appease the stock wheel crowd? Possibly- but we addressed the most popular setup first based on our data and as an aftermarket site, we feel comfortable starting there. Thanks for watching. -Justin

      @@americantrucks No need to defend yourself. I do like the vids just, sometimes misleading like the question you asked on You-Tube (Will 35's fit on a 2021 F150 with 2.5" level Kit)? Yes they will just not with a 0 Offset. No, Zero Offset does not look better IMO. It makes the tires stick out way too far and throws rocks at following cars and along the side of your truck. Tucked in gives a much better finished look but, appearances are subjective. There are more stock wheel people than you think. As I get older, I find throwing my money at something I don't need to be less appealing. Ive been down that road. Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work

    You don’t need a level, a lift or aftermarket rims to run 35s on an F-150.
    The rubbing problems are usually a function of added width rather than circumference coupled with modified wider rims/rims with non-standard offset/backspacing.
    I run a set of Kenda Klever R/T in a 35x10.5r17s on the stock rims with no lift and I have no issues.

  • @PatB22
    @PatB22 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I just got 35s put on my leveled 2021 F150 a couple of days ago. They fit with with the smallest bit of rub on the front passenger rear crash bar. Using a hydraulic RAM i was able to push the rear crash bars back a couple of inches and I didn't have to do any cutting or trimming on at all. It can also be done with a bottle jack and bar or strong length of wood. Feel free to leave me contact info if you want more details. The tires are Ridge Grapplers 295/65/20 on a 8.5 inch wide rim with a +35 offset and I have a 2 inch level. The tires are 35.1 inches and 11.6 wide.

    • @sonsoffishes1
      @sonsoffishes1 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes because of the 11.6 width. The problem isnt the diameter, its the width. Most guys run 35x12.5 and they require significant trimming/crash bar spreading to fit on a 4" lift

    What’s the tire and wheel set up for the 33’s?

  • @Nate-zy5ce

    Good stuff. Am hoping you can answer a few question for me. I'm new to all these but thanks to TH-cam am learning a lot. I am going back and forth between getting a full size suv like a gmc yukon at4 or denali, or an f150 platinum or raptor, leaning to the f150's. I'd like to level the f150 or lift the suv, say 2-3"s, and add bigger tires. Love the 35's, at least on the f150's, though the 37's on the raptor if i go that route would be awesome. In any case, I see f150's leveled with 2", 2.5" and 3", so which actually levels an f150, and if it's the 2", and you do a 3" level, does that mean you add a 1" lift in the rear, or are you left with it dancing around level but not being exactly level depending on which number of inches you get? And two, the yukons and tahoes and escalades have adjustable air suspension and magna ride. How will a lift on such an suv affect those, affect the air ride? If normal minimal road clearance is 8", and in 4H you can go to 9" and 4L to 10", if you add a 2" lift, does that also raise the air ride, so that normal road clearance becomes 10", 4H can go to 11" and 4L to 12", or if not, does the lift screw up the effectiveness of the air ride? Or is there something to be done to raise the air ride also, and does that cause problems? Thanks. I'm not sure who to ask or where to go to learn about this air ride question.

    For all you naysayers that say you can't go more than three inches on a leveling kit on an F-150, I'm here to tell you you're wrong, do you hear me American truck? I put a three and a half inch spacer and added a quarter inch lean spacer, which added another half inch by the way, on top of my struts, for a total of 4-in lift, along with a new set of aftermarket upper control arms, added a small block to the rear axle, install my 35-in all terrain on 20-in rims,had a complete front end alignment, and a truck rides excellent, contrary to popular belief! so don't let these guys tell you that you can't go any higher than two and a half or three inch leveling kit, it's just not true!

    From the looks of your above video it barely touches the plastic which you could trim with a pair of scissors.. can't really see the rear crash bar but it looks like a pretty easy fit? By the way what size are those rims are those 18in and 20in or what? And are they 9 wide or 10 wide? Great video by the way thanks. My main concern was hitting the spring perch on the strut on the inner. So I am assuming the 35 1250 with a 0 offset does not hit the spring perch on the strut?

    Great Video! It would be awesome if y'all did some of these fitting videos with F150 FX4 trucks. Many leveling kits and all kinds of parts don't work with FX4 F150s. So WHAT DOES work? Would be great to see some of your set ups! The mammoth looks good, but I still see some front end rake. I'm not one for cutting or trimming, so I'd play around with adjusting offset and tire size first; just me. Great set ups and cool video!

      Ok, so honest question here. Lots of parts don't work with "FX4?" Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't "FX4" some skid plates, monotube shocks, additional trans mode added (Rock crawl), and a decal? Why wouldn't ANY parts that fit a non-FX4 F150 fit the FX4? And before I hear that the suspension is lifted/better, we measured my buddy's 2020 FX4 and its the exact same height as my 2021 non FX4 4x4. Am I missing something?

SuperCrew/3.55 gears/4x4/Electronic Locking Diff/ Max Tow/ 3.5 Ecoboost. Crash bars in tact. I know it doesn’t rub, because I have used Fluid Film twice a year since it had 3 miles on it, and there is no rub marks on any crash bar, front or back. The K02s run small to size, and would fit. You could probably run 35x12r20 K02s and wouldn’t rub.
