I have this truck. Same color, a little newer, and not 4wd and you have currently ruined my year until my stock tires and ride height are exactly what I’m seeing here. So sick, and not goofy and over the top. Well done!
A little late to the game on the truck brew but love it! I have a 2015 and it’s at 260k and it’s been great. I know u keep up on maintenance but about 130k flush that trans! About that mileage I started to feel a rumble strip feel/grinding and a trans flush completely eliminated it. I’ve flushed it 2 more times and it’s been great. Still original trans and torque converter.
I’ve got some 295/65r20’s coming for my 2017 f350. Perfect size in my book. I like my stock wheels and the 35x12.50 technically needs a wider wheel. I tow a 12k camper frequently and didn’t want a tire that would even remotely would crown up due to wheel width. Truck looks great. Ps… had to put on my pit vipers to look at those tires with all that shine on em. 😎
I’ve got a 2009 f 150 lariat with bilstein coil overs with a 1 Inch lift and 275 70 18’s ….3.55 gears….no decline in performance or gas mileage…perfect for me…. Looks like a 3/4 ton truck…
I used Rough Country 2’loaded struts on the front with 285/75/17 Falcon AT3s. That’s 34/11.50. Keeps them under the wheels wells. Plenty of clearance with some cushion for 4wd. It’s a regular cab with the tow package. Sits maybe “1/2 higher in back but I think it looks great. If you drive on rough terrain, the slightly smaller(than 35s) are a definite advantage.
Nice video, Just what I was looking for. I'm about to put the Bilstien 5100s on my 17 Lariat and wanted to be able to put 35s on it afterward. I believe I have the tow package, so I'll put the shocks on the lowest ring to make it level. Gives me confidence for adding the 35s, thanks.
Im currently running 285/60/20 Cooper AT3 XLTs on my 2009 SCREW.. with a 3" RC lift/level... No rubbing but you couldn't fit a credit card between the tire and upper control arms. Im about to throw on some 295/60/20 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires... Pretty sure im going to need 1" spacers.
Looking really awesome with the new shoes ,and leveling kit. You have bought a great looking F-150, but sad to see the Lightning go, the new owner should very happy with a sweet truck.
I have the same body style but an 2018 cayote, put on the roush level pac 2 on it and i love it even more only thing i hate is the auto stop feature and the roush exhaust that is a bit more loud than i wanted it, but that was my fault lol
I just got a 2.5" level and went with 295-70r18 Falken Wildpeak at3/w tires, so far I'm loving the elevation change from the level AND the extra 2" diam on the tires..
The tires rub on the upper control arm when turning. I’m going to try a1/2 inch spacer to give space between tire and upper control arm and see if that alleviates the problem.
It does look good. Nice job. Do you know, I've always understood that other things being equal narrower tires handle snow and ice on the roads during winter better b/c the vehicle weight is disbursed over a smaller area, the narrower versus the wider tires, so more lbs per square inch on the narrower tire, is that your understanding too? Other? I've been wanting to get 35 tires, 18 or 20 wheels, but narrower rather than wider. What is the width of those on your vehicle? 9, 10, 11 maybe? I don't think I'd want to get 12 or 12.5 as I see on so many of these vids. Unless, of course, I am wrong about the narrower tire handling snow and ice better. As to the tire size, transmission issue, why you keep it in Sport most of the time, what would keeping it in normal or quiet mode if there is one?
Hate to see the lightning go but diggin the new truck what kind of leveling kit did you use I did one from eBay the 2.5 was way to much on my 05 puts the suspension in to big of a bind ended up causing all kinds of issues wish you the best with it bud 😀
Aw man I subscribed thinking that this was gonna be a 100% F150 and lawn equipment channel, I was hoping to see some good weedeaters and pushmower revival's. Welp I guess I was wrong. Id never thought this was a old car channel dangit well i guess I will see if i can find a good ol channel with hand tools and such like rakes and shovels and hoes yeah I like a good broke in hoe to work my garden, well im gone. Thanks farmer ,Joe Bob
have you noticed the backup camera guidelines being off with the newer tires? I'm assuming turn radius is a little off. not even close to an apples to apples comparison but my last truck's back up camera guidelines (2017 silverado with a 9" lift and 37's) were so far off it was obnoxious.
beautiful truck, looking at one similar to this color and setup for him. What is that color??? My favorite color by far on a F150. Very Classy and Tough looking truck
Great video! Looks clean and crisp. I have 2018 xlt 3.3v6/tow pkg. Wanted to go with 285/65/18. 32.6/11.2/7.3/102.3/619. (Diam/wdth/sidewall/circumference /revs per mi). Looks like this is the biggest stock tire I can put. Your thoughts 1) should I level kit or billstein front coil over shock w/2.5" lift? ( I already installed rear billstein shocks). 2) do i need wheel alignment if bigger tires? 3) do I need to calibrate speedometer w bigger tires? P.S I like the stoner car care trim shine. Looks great, and will ck those Hankook for my Ole mule f150. Thanks for video, And response ahead of time .
Does the stoners car care have to be black? I see another one on amazon that’s not black, but doesn’t say a color? Also thank you for this information in the video!
I put 34s on mine and a tuner to fix the speedo I have 2.5 struts in front and UCA no rubbing full articulation .but about 2500 dollars for struts UACs and rear blocks and shocks. Next 1.25 Bora spacers on my stock wheels and 34s
HELP PLEASE! I have a 2017 ford f150 4x4 xl with a 2.50 inch leveling kit. I want to run 35s and looking around online some people can only run 33s or maybe 34s. Today when i went to my local tire shop they looked at my truck and said i can only run 33s without hitting the back edge of the bumper and without cutting the crash bars ect. Don't know what to do now i want 35s
You need those 50 foot wheel spacers to make those wheels stick a mile out of the truck and low pro tires that are so low its like ridding on the rims..oh..and Jack up the front and leave the back low.like you can't afford a full lift kit....hell no.im kidding..
Had a 2.5 leveling kit installed on my F-150 and there is a hitting like noice here and there coming from the front right side area. Any idea what this could be ?
I have this truck. Same color, a little newer, and not 4wd and you have currently ruined my year until my stock tires and ride height are exactly what I’m seeing here. So sick, and not goofy and over the top. Well done!
I like that you didn’t cut the crash bars and had to do no trimming definitely will help with safety and resale of the truck.
This is coming from a guy with a Chevy Silverado 6” lift and 37” tires 20” rims. And IM IN LOVE WITH YOUR TRUCK WOW
That is a beautiful and clean f150. I love the stance with the 35s.
Finally a very useful video for my tire replacement for my 2019 F150 King Ranch FX4 with the Tow Package. I Truly Thank You, Well Done.
A little late to the game on the truck brew but love it! I have a 2015 and it’s at 260k and it’s been great. I know u keep up on maintenance but about 130k flush that trans! Sweet truck! I am still driving my 2007 F150 Supercrew. Best truck I have ever owned.
Them tires will hit the upper control arm before they hit the fenders FYI..
If the offset is right it ought to be fine
Simple and clean. That lightning is super clean. Awesome garage you have
I like the trucks she's nice 👌 my 08 is in decent shape and has 280,000 miles on it. not gonna lie I'm excited to see 300
I’ve got some 295/65r20’s coming for my 2017 f350.
Looks fantastic, good call on the tire size. I don't like when the tires are all poked out of sides. Awesome color also...💯🔥
I’ve got a 2009 f 150 lariat with bilstein coil overs with a 1 Inch lift and 275 70 18’s ….3.55 gears….no decline in performance or gas mileage…perfect for me…. Looks like a 3/4 ton truck…
Nice job, I have almost the same truck and want to do pretty much the same thing without a bunch of modifications. Truck looks great.
That lighting still looks sexy as hell today.. Damn. Love the flush look of the tires. Can not stand the tires sticking out...
I used Rough Country 2’loaded struts on the front with 285/75/17 Falcon AT3s. That’s 34/11.50. Keeps them under the wheels wells. Plenty of clearance with some cushion for 4wd. 2:16 .....diggin that Foxbody double stack going on!
I’m liking the f150 content keeps em comin

Brew2l looks awesome. Trunk looks great, I know you will miss the Lighting. But looks like you are already enjoying the F150.
Love it, reminds me of the f150 Atlas concept truck
Can you get those tires any more shiny? Damn I feel blinded! But that is a gorgeous looking truck, I want one now
Looks great man! Keep some F150 content coming!
Who cares, it’s a truck
@@TheXJthatCouldtruck owners care.
Looking really awesome with the new shoes ,and leveling kit. You have bought a great looking F-150, but sad to see the Lightning go, the new owner should very happy with a sweet truck.
That lighting is sweet man.
Love how it sits flush man. Want these same size tires with 22x9s on mine.
Nice lighting .. let me know when u get another .. perfer the early 90’s lighting
We need some more videos on this truck!
The F150 is what brought me to your channel. New sub here man. 👍🏻🍻
Ya shouldve show'n the lift install...truck looks good. Bring the truck stuff, need grey ghost content,,artic fox, and quack content...
Awsome, I have same motor f150. Put a cold air intake for some cool turbo noise stuff on that thing
Looks awesome, keep the air dams tho that directs air to the radiator for cooling.
Really? I've had mine off for probably 2 years and haven't had an issue
Air dam isn't for radiator. It creates a draft under the truck and improves fuel economy
I have the same body style but an 2018 cayote, put on the roush level pac 2 on it and i love it even more
only thing i hate is the auto stop feature and the roush exhaust that is a bit more loud than i wanted it, but that was my fault lol
Ik I’m a little late lmao, but a tuner can get rid of that auto start/stop. I got mine on the way
I just got a 2.5" level and went with 295-70r18 Falken Wildpeak at3/w tires, so far I'm loving the elevation change from the level AND the extra 2" diam on the tires..
How is the ride quality? Does it ride differently than stock OEM configuration?
Yeah bro, answer the question lol
I enjoy the F150 content too
The tires rub on the upper control arm when turning. I’m going to try a1/2 inch spacer to give space between tire and upper control arm and see if that alleviates the problem.
Thats a really great lookin rig, great info for these trucks.
Love that tire package on the truck
My 2015 F150 Platinum is a pile and sitting in my driveway.
Very good video my man. Informative and straightforward
Love the truck what did you use to shine your tires?
Looks great hate to see lightning go. 😪
Love the new look of the truck👌🏾
Nice truck. But never did mention what type of level kit was used on the truck???
Found out about stoner products about 5 years ago. They make great stuff.
It does look good. Nice job. I'm ready for some 65 content. Just saying
hey just got my truck last year now ready to put some new things ... i like what you did ... let me know exactly what you did... i will copy you
She shol is purdy!!! Haha.. slick ride dude!!
Looks awesome! How did you level it. Spacers on top of the coil?
Try out solution finish on the trim.....its easy to apply and it's been keeping mine nice for over 8 months now.
Looks awesome, can you fit a full size spare underneath ?
What did you use for tire dressing i like as shiny as possible on my tires, yours look great! What do you like for tire product?
I use Griot’s in an aerosol can.
295/65s are 33.1 inches… what am I missing? You said they’re 35s?
I was thinking the same thing... he keeps saying 35.1
@brew2l are you still enjoying this truck man?
Hate to see the lightning go but diggin the new truck what kind of leveling kit did you use I did one from eBay the 2.5 was way to much on my 05 puts the suspension in to big of a bind ended up causing all kinds of issues wish you the best with it bud 😀

Good looking truck.
Beautiful truck man!, thats what I need to update to
I have an 18' STX with 295/60/20 Nitto ridge grapplers and 2" level, and they rub at the extreme left and right turns. Why is this happening?
Where did you find the tires for 250? The cheapest I can find them is $400
You can get off brand tires or try going used. OfferUp
beautiful truck, looking at one similar to this color and setup for him. What is that color??? My favorite color by far on a F150. Very Classy and Tough looking truck
I think it's a Magnetic Grey from 2015, looks identical to mine '15 f150 at least
Nice truck! Very clean looking. 👌
Your thoughts
1) should I level kit or billstein front coil over shock w/2.5" lift? ( I already installed rear billstein shocks).
2) do i need wheel alignment if bigger tires?
3) do I need to calibrate speedometer w bigger tires?

So stoner trim shine is like maxima’s SC-1 or Slick’s trim shine I would assume?
Nice truck stuff👍👍👍
That tire is shiny!!!
Fastest truck I’ve ever seen
Looks perfect
I put 34s on mine and a tuner to fix the speedo I have 2.5 struts in front and UCA no rubbing full articulation .but about 2500 dollars for struts UACs and rear blocks and shocks. Next 1.25 Bora spacers on my stock wheels and 34s
I appreciate the video! Now that you've had them for a while, have you ran into any issues? Also any rubbing when pulling a heavy trailer?
What leveling kit did you use??
have an 2018 f150 xlt sitting on 28570r17, wanting to go up to 315 or 305's, my question is would I still need a leveling kit for the 30570r17s?
This is off topic but did you ever have any transmission issues while owning this truck?
Truck looks good man!
Looks awesome! What is the wheel diameter?
What brand 2.5 leveling kit did you use?
How close are those tires to the ball joint?
That’s a sharp look truck! Did the 35’s hurt the mileage?
Oh ya
Looks amazing! 🤘
I mean that’s coo tho lots people including me like 17 in rims tho with 35x17 Baja look
I have stock 20” wheels on my 2018 f150 and I have a 2.5” level kit. What’s the largest tire I can run for this application
I have a 3 inch kit and I clear with no issue. I think you’ll be fine. Might rub a little at full lock. But should only be on the metal crash bar.
Is 2inch or 2.5 inch exactly level? I have 4x4 tow package
Can anyone tell me exactly what rims those are? Assuming they are stock
How does it rub with the 35s when the suspension is fully flexed?
How do you spray your grill with that trim black? I’ve used it before on trims but did the whole piece. I’ve never just touched up areas
pretty sure that's equal to a 33" by 11.5" tire...not 35s
Nice!.....what's the mileage like....rim size??
What’s the widest 35’ tire you can put on with a 2” lift ?
You need those 50 foot wheel spacers to make those wheels stick a mile out of the truck and low pro tires that are so low its like ridding on the rims..oh..and Jack up the front and leave the back low.like you can't afford a full lift kit....hell no.im kidding..

Looks great! Do you think they would fit a 2" level?
Had a 2.5 leveling kit installed on my F-150 and there is a hitting like noice here and there coming from the front right side area. Any idea what this could be ?
Can you go off road with this or ford it rub
OK so what size wheels are they you never said
No rubbing.....unless you go off-road
