I rarely watch TV, especially a series. I can count on one hand how many series I've saw in my life. The first time I clicked on TLK in a moment of complete boredom, it was her voice that grabbed me and kept me watching. It grabbed my kids too (they're older). They literally came from others rooms and asked "What are you watching?" They also followed the series 🙃 It's astounding what an opening can do especially when Eivor is involved. Honestly, had she not grabbed me, I probably wouldn't have continued watching
4 years later, this is in my recommended section again. I'm still loving this session as much as my first time hearing it!!! I hope to see your concert one day!!!

So I waited out the credits at the end of an episode, and there at the very end it said "Eivør". This is the moment your name suddenly came into existence for me. There is so much I want to ask you, about the way you use your voice, with and without the vocals chords, and how your overall sound-making is similar to that of native American peoples, the Sami people, and other nomadic folk around the world. It is a very true way of sound-making because it asks the primal, essential questions over and over again, of is there breath, do I have breath, do I breathe in, or do I breathe out, and is there voice, do I have a voice? The questions are asked of the Universe, the Cosmos, and at the same time the breath and voice connect the soundmaking and all those who can hear and feel it with the cosmos. More later perhaps....
