My favourite musician, by far. I'm 48, but I share a love for this music with my 11 year old daughter. That does not happen with much other music.
Big Eivør lover here! Always happy to see her coming around on TH-cam. I saw her live already and will again this year and it's just a whole experience when you get to be there live with her. This song is the Theme from Netflix series "The Last Kingdom". She did the whole soundtrack. For me it's the best series out there with the best music ❤ If you haven't watch it I recommend to do so! 😉

John Lunn wrote and recorded the music. He had invited Eivor in for a session after seeing her on a TH-cam video. What would you sing over this he asked her. What she sang was recorded and became the recorded version of the Main Theme. That is working efficiency. Eivor became co-composer for the series with John.
Wow!, I didn't know this fact, this is very impressive. I discovered her recently, she's un my opinion one the the best musician/author and singer I ever headr. Her style and inspiration are touch our soul.
She also had a cameo in the final season. She was close to where they were filming and got to participate in one of the scenes!
We need more Eivor on this channel ^_^ She's so versatile and so unique! Btw, she's releasing a new album in summer!

After watching this video the first time, i got no choice to rewatch all the Last Kingdom serie 👌 Beautiful one and we have Eivør singing all the soundtrack in extra 🤌

She has just done a cover of Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God).It is class.A few years back she did a cover of Hounds of Love another great song by Kate Bush. .You might know that the Last Kingdom is a (TV series) ... Never rely on goggles' interpretation of Faroese. Goggle cannot interpret Faroese. Because Faroese is the oldest Viking language in existence. Foreigners think that Icelandic is the oldest Viking language that exists, but the Faroese language is 200 years older than the language that exists in Iceland.
