the last meeting between Uthred and King Alfred is a masterpiece of humanity. The love story between Uthred and Aethelflead is the most beautiful one I have ever watched. It's a story about loyalty to and against all. The whole story is topped with a stunning soundtrack ! Actors are excellent !
What a beautiful language and a beautiful song. If someone is of a warrior blood , they got to admire Viking courage along side all warrior nations . If this life you either man up be a worrier so you can make a name for yourself or submit and be forgotten that is all.

Anyone knows the song or score theme when Uhtred wins some fights or he is riding the marshes? It sounds synth like "Reichsfeind - Mountains" song. I think it's a score unreleased version but I'm not lucky finding it. It's like Aeternum over 03:XX but without lyrics and more Synth.

The plot was maddening. Uthred is constantly being betrayed and humiliated and yet remains martyr like. At times it was like a soap opera.
