I finally got out of town and escaped the snow for the Tucson Gem Show. I was able to get a bunch of cool slabs and specimens.

Congratulations on over 2000 subscribers!🥳🎉✨️🎊 It is well deserved!👏 Beautiful pieces from the Tuscon show. The purple jade is awesome! Very cool specimen pieces. That big agate slab is gorgeous! Online people are calling it Indonesian tiger dendritic agate. Some Etsy sellers have cabs made of it. I think the one purple slab is lepidolite, it is usually translucent to opaque but can sometimes be transparent. I love the turquoise!💙 Can't wait to see what you make with all of those beauties. Thanks for sharing Lauren!✌️🤠🤘

Congratulations on your landmark. 2000 woo hoo!! Love all the loot from Tucson. We skipped this year. We have more stuff than wr can to in a couple of years. Of course, if you find it yourself it doesn't count. Be happy, safe and stay healthy from Montgomery, AL today. On to Gainesville, GA tomorrow. 😷⚒

That was a delightful haul! Those beautiful pieces and slabs are all gorgeous! Ypur amethyst slab is sure pretty! I love purple! So your lavendar jade is beautiful too. And your finger slab is absolutely gorgeous! It very much looks like islands in a sea! So vibrant! And your pet wood slabs from your friend are beautiful. Who doesnt like pet wood? But your last slab is a show stopper! Man, its tempting just to polish one side, and put it on a stand and leave it alone. Its gorgeous and very unique. How lovely! All in all a super great haul! The deals and material there are astounding! Its my goal to make it there next year! Thanks for sharing and im feeling your pain with the snow right now. Lol! Stay warm! And Congrats and the 2000k subs! Thats amazing! Im so happy for you! You have a wonderful channel so im not surprised! Congratulations!!!!

I was watching the Flagstaff snow storm on a live webcam on Wednesday. Nice treasures from the TSG. I'm happy you didn't go overboard buying.. I really like the Indonesian tiger stripe agate and Botswana. Looking forward to seeing you out in the desert again soon. 2k and counting, yay you.

Wow! You scored! I love the gem show but have little luck finding good rough. That tiger stripe is amazing! I would probably not cut it. Those green opals tumble nice but they are very, very hard. What a winter indeed! Here in Southern California we are measuring rain by the foot now! Lol.... Oh I love your counter/bench top!

That purple one is most likely lepidiolite

I don’t know. I’ve never seen lepidolite that translucent. It’s micaceous and usually very sparkly. It looks more like non terminated amethyst. I’ll have to ask my neighbors if they remember what it is. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Did you go to the 22nd street venue? I didnt make it there, only had enough time to get through the convention center 😭.

We went to a bunch of the smaller shows around Oracle street then Keno. I wanted to go to the areas with minerals and fossils. Keno has a lot of the rough stuff though.
