Lock the power to 875mv and you will be within 5-10% of performance and run at 220 watts with a 3080.
Everyone should get a good custom fan curve and undervolt on 30 series cards you barely lose any performance for 30% power and heat savings..

i have r7 5700x 32gb ram and 650W using it with rtx 2070super undervolted and its running perfectly fine even not undervolted, with 3080 card i would still have 120 free watts so it could possibly run with it

I have a 3080 with a ryzen 5800x build and it’s been running fine with a 750 watt it also has to nvme and 2 sata ssd and 4 hd.
I also keep my 3080 undervolted to its sweet spot. But that’s just for heat I’ve let it rip full power and gamed and never had a problem …
I’m sure I might of got away with a 650 I just already had the 750 fully modular corsair psu from my last build so it’s what I used …

Thanks, 3090, 2x 16gb ram 2x 1gb ssd 1 x hdd 7200rpm, i7 8086k 5ghz, Seasonic prime 750 titanium = reboot when gaming. Like you, I wasn’t sure if it was the gpu or the psu, cos Reddit has a few users with same gpu/psu and i9s who claim to have no issues! but I’m now pretty certain it’s the psu.
