Because the Redskins actually got a pretty good return on champ Bailey, I would say their most regrettable is Trent Williams. We literally lost the best offensive lineman in the game because we couldn't have a competent medical staff

@@joserios991do you mean they regret all the draft picks they were traded away. The only thing we regret is the mismanagement and rg3’s inability to learn how to learn. And settled for getting by on athletic ability. Ex.: Ross Tucker tells a story about a team ran the same quarters defense (barely disguising it they ran it almost all game) and the coach called slants on the next three play. Rg3 went high on the first one threw the 2nd one in the dirt and the on the 3rd one nailed it for a good gain. As loaded as
That is it pretty much summed up rg3.

I mean lets be fair on Holmes, Ravens got him as an UDFA as depth in 1997. Gave him 3 more years and a starting roll and he never really was anything special. Ravens draft Jamal Lewis, who was clearly the better RB and moved on from Holmes who then started to perform well in KC. Lewis was still clearly the healthier and better of the 2, so I doubt the Ravens ever regretted moving on from Holmes.
Lynch, if memory serves had major subordination issues which is why I think they traded him away.

Arizona: Thanks for getting rid of the Honey Badger!!
Atlanta: They'd have choked with or without him in that Super Bowl.
Ravens: Priest Holmes or Jamal Lewis?
Bills: Thanks for BEAST MODE on the cheap!!!
Carolina: They lost Peppers but drafted Luke Keuchly the year after, so is that really a problem?
Chicago: So you traded Olsen and Peppers. Seems like a fair trade.
Cleveland: Mayfield pushed himself to ruin in 2021 and the team should have told him to back it off. I hope the Sexual Predator suffers a career ending injury.
Dallas: Smith was a dang good wideout who had the misfortune to be in Jacksonville, a football Hades that few deserve.
Denver: Considering the weapons and the Ring in the years after Marshall left, is that really who they miss?
Green Bay: Yeah they're missing Hyde. I'd argue in a few years, we could add Davante Adams to the list.
Houston: Ah yes, the idiotic one!!
Indianapolis: The way that team was being run, it would have killed Manning instead of Luck if he had stayed.
Oakland: Yes, the one run out of town by the racist email man. REAL SMART GRUDEN
San Diego: You just helped the Evil Empire smite you every year in the playoffs!!=
St. Louis: Why'd he have to go the Steel City!! I would rather not have had to face him in Super Bowl XL.
Miami: Ah yes, facilitating your best player to your mortal enemy. Real GENIUS move!!!

The bills had a crowded backfield when Marshawn Lynch was there with Fred Jackson (who had more yards than lynch during that time) and CJ Spiller, and out of the three, Lynch couldn't stay out of trouble. Both remaining backs went on to have high YPC and 900+ yard seasons every year after that (they split carries) so I don't think they regret Lynch winning one SB in seattle.

Not sure the Eagles one is entirely fair, I don't think there was any way they were going to be able to keep White. I mean, he literally sued the NFL to get the right to leave. I'm sure they *wish* they hadn't lost him but they decidedly weren't the ones in control of that decision.
Agree on Mayfield and the Browns, though -- I really thought they had what looked like the start of something special going on there, I couldn't believe they just threw it all away. Even aside from everything going on with Watson (which is a pretty big deal in itself), it just seemed like a terrible idea to make such a radical move right when it seemed like they'd finally been able to get off the QB carousel. The least they could've done was give Baker one more year to see if he could bounce back once he was healthy and then make the long-term decision from there, rather than basically hitting the panic button over one bad season. (And yes, I know Baker had a bad year in 2022, but he was put in some tough spots between how late he was traded and how bad the team he ended up with was, I really don't think it's fair to assume he would've been that bad had he stayed with the Browns.)

As a 12, I would say trading Max Unger for Jimmy Graham or letting Russell Okung go in free agency are what closed our contention window in the Legion Of Boom era because with a weakened O-Line and deteriorating weapons, we became more reliant on the defense, and on the Legion, who were getting older and picking up injuries, especially Kam Chancellor. Hutchinson hurt, but I would want to go back and prevent both Okung and Unger leaving MUCH more.

David Garrard was by no means elite, but the Jags were 'Browns & Jets' levels of laughably bad when it came to QB play after they gettig of him. They only JUST became competent at the position again thanks to Trevor Lawrence, but MAN the 2010s were a rough stretch for this team, even with the AFC Championship appearance

Did the Bills regret trading Marshawn Lynch? Maybe, maybe not. At the time the Bills also had Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. True, neither were Beast Mode; but the Seahawks were a better team with a better O-line than the Bills. Marshawn may not have had the same success had he stayed in Buffalo. And Fred Jackson became a fan favorite here. Oh, and as far as the greatest defensive players in NFL history; Bruce Smith would like a word with you.

You’re 100% wrong about my Ravens it was not resigning Anquan Boldin after the Super Bowl win he was Flacco’s safety net and we had Jamal Lewis so we didn’t need Priest and he also won OPOTY and had 1 of the best season ever as a Runningback! Also Rod Woodson didn’t play corner for the Ravens he played Safety

      @sickofguysnamedtodd2293 ปีที่แล้ว +1

They didn’t trade him, he left as a free agent. Matter of fact he was a plaintiff in the player’s association’s lawsuit against the league to get unrestricted free agency, and when it finally came to the league in 1993, right when his eagles contract was up, he was the crown 👑 jewel 💎 of th NFL’s first unrestricted free agency sweepstakes.

Brady leaving the Patriots was not a regret. Brady needed an elite roster around him. Bill knew this, the reason the Pats struggled has mostly been offensive issues being
Cam no longer has a shoulder
Mac had a great rookie campaign
    Mac had a terrible OC
All three years the Pats had a good defense and a game manager offense. Brady also got to goto a weak division
