Super Mario Galaxy 2's cosmic clones combined with Boss Blitz Galaxy is a deadly combination. Mario or Luigi must defeat 5 bosses in a row while infinite cosmic clones swarm the arena. Can Dino Piranha, King Kaliente, Major Burrows, Bouldergeist and the Fiery Dino Piranha be defeated under these conditions? Is it possible? Let's find out!

Hey everyone! So you probably noticed, but Nathaniel Bandy’s channels and our group channel Minus World were hacked. Some were even deleted... TH-cam hasn’t been very helpful over the weekend but we are hoping things can be restored soon. Nathaniel has had a really rough weekend with his channels being converted by crypto scammers, but the community support has really helped him muscle through it while he waits on TH-cam. Thank you to everyone for their support over on Twitter while this nightmare is being sorted out!

Fun fact: in Super Mario Galaxy, if you max out the star bit counter in the Comet Observatory, the coconuts turn into watermelons. It stays like this forever on that file, even if the amount of star bits is lowered. Once the counter hits 9999 just once, all coconuts turn into watermelons forever.

@@latexu9589 I was just making it more clear that you only need to get to 9999 star bits once for the game to forever change the coconuts into watermelons, not actually keep the star bit counter AT 9999. I wanted to make it clear that even if the star bit counter in the hub world falls from 9999, you will still have watermelons instead of coconuts.
Its crazy that he can beat this challenge against all odds. Im sure that he can beat impossible challenges in the future

I always wondered how long kalinete's planet would look without the lava.. the heat colors make sense on the shiny rock so I wonder if it goes white or blue under the lava....

I think you should try fighting the final bowser boss in Mario 3D land with the clones. The clones in that game are an absolute nightmare

2:47 That's not entirely true actually, as you CAN indeed get coins during the fight with King Kaliente.
How, you may ask?
Well, you know that mechanic where you can shoot Star Bits by pointing the Wii Remote at the screen and pressing the B button? Turns out, if you shoot a Star Bit at one of the Lava Bubbles Kaliente summons in his fight, it will actually defeat them and cause them to spawn a coin.
Though to be fair, when you're getting chased down by a swarm of constantly spawning Cosmic Clones I doubt anyone's first instinct would be to shoot Star Bits at a bunch of Lava Bubbles...
Well, i had both games so I constanlty forgot from where some boses are, i never realizaré that in that spesific Galaxy you fought with previous boses
imagine not only all of this, but youre racing cosmic mario to beat the level
What if the same thing happened as in this video but when you are about to start a new boss another spawner gets triggered
If this is hard imagine how hard it would be to do this with the prankster comic star

Let me try this challenge, I'm an avid SMG player.
By the way, bouldergeist doesn't have a phase reset after you blow up his rocky exterior. He will continuously float around the arena in that form until you land a hit on him with a bomb boo. Or at least from the experiences and experiments I've done he doesn't. I've tried waiting for him to regenerate his body, but he wouldn't do it. I don't know if I was just too impatient and didn't wait long enough, but I haven't seen him regenerate before.
So I’m not 100% sure about this but its about that textureless Mario anomaly so i just want to say it. Tiny huge island was maybe bugged out because the world would switch but everything is a coin maybe the game could not keep track of every object since they were all converted to coins. Im no gaming expert so don’t expect this to be true.

Bouldergeist is actually my favorite boss fight from Mario Galaxy 1 (I haven't played Mario Galaxy 2 in a long time).
