Ceiling from cedar fence pickets go on our container overhang

Here's a quick video of our cedar fence picket ceiling that we put on our game room overhang.
We first installed fir strips to the C channels that run under the container using wood-to-metal self tapping screws that worked great! The fence pickets will be brad nailed to the strips using 16 gauge brads.
In preparation for the install, we bought a bunch of cedar pickets from Home Depot, cut the ears off the top (using my newly built miter saw bench), sanded down the pickets on 1 side, then stained/sealed them.
Before installing the pickets I finished up installing the ceiling fan mounts and electrical.
We installed R30 rolled insulation in between the C channels and then installed the pickets. We used non-faced insulation and cut it to length.
This was a fun project and was one of the last big projects we still had to complete.
