You should do a reaction video to Enemy Mine. Enemy Mine is a 1985 sci-fi drama from director Wolfgang Peterson (The Neverending Story. Troy) and stars Dennis Quaid (Innerspace. GI-Joe: Rise of the Cobra) and Louis Gossett, Jr. (The Punisher. Toy Soldiers). In the movie, Dennis Quaid stars a space fighter pilot who crashes on a volcanic planet during a space battle and finds himself marooned along with an enemy alien space fighter pilot (Louis Gossett, Jr.) which the two enemies get to know each other and put aside their differences and they learn about each others cultures.

Fun Fact: the sounds of the Whisties was later reused for the fairies in the 1988 fantasy film Willow.

I saw this when I was 7. Even at 7, I knew this wasn't anywhere close to as good as the movies. But I loved it. Why? Because it was still Star Wars. There was to be no more movies. It would be nearly 2 decades before Star Wars again flashed on the big screen. As a child desperate for more Star Wars, this was still something. TV was always low budget and beggars can't be choosers.
My dad recorded it on his new VCR. I wore the tape out. I haven't seen this since then. If my 7 year old self could watch the Mandalorian now he'd flip. In fact, the ending of season 2 instantly made me feel like a 7 year old again. None of the new movies ever did that for me.

Caravan of Courage was pretty on par with kid entertainment at the time (and that's really who the intended audience was for this). Sure there's a lot of hokey parts now, but at the time, it was pretty sweet and for a made for TV movie... come on, have to cut it some slack.
I do laugh at Mace though. He goes from 'hey, everything is cool, let's get going.' to 'OMFG WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE AND CATCH CINDAL WMEDOGSHJSDLKGKHSLDFGJKJ!!!!' in like 2 seconds.

I loved this as a kid. It was one of the first VCR tapes we ever bought, this and the last starfighter. Fond memories of this movie but I haven't seen it in over 30 years.
Gotta say, The Mandalorian is amazing.

One thing I love about these movies is the lack of cgi they had to spend months crafting the costumes and the effects and that’s something that Hollywood had moved away from.

13:37 Yup. That was the stuff of nightmares for me as a kid. I remember I fell through some ice in my snow suit and went straight down. My sister with a tree branch and I got right out, didn't even freeze. Had quite a few more close calls with the water. No wonder I had that dream a few times.

I've heard "caravan of courage" referenced before. I'm glad this was how I watched it. But seeing how they incorporate non dialogue stories is fun enough and I'd love to have an Ewok team member or 2 on my crew to mix things up or wildcard in space.
Its hilarious that the empire lost to these things.

I loved this film as a kid which seems so strange to me now. I have a hard time watching slow or boring movies these days, but back then I guess I would watch anything remotely interesting. It certainly helps that it was Star Wars related, too.

i like this one more than the second ewok movie. I like that he gets a rock and it's reminiscent of Charlie Brown on Halloween. and then they ask him for it at a crucial time and he's like i threw it away i didn't take this movie seriously. I like how there's a warrior ewok and a wizard ewok they must get for their caravan. yeah, don't stick your hand in things. good lesson. i remember watching this on NBC back in the 1980s when it was on. They had it on the tv in TGI Fridays the sportsbar? with people eating their dinner and buying drinks at the bar, my family had gone out to eat that night, and they were playing the Ewok movie on their tvs because it was the first star wars tv special since the Holiday special in 79 and people were still hyped up about star wars.

Funny enough, when they're finding the extra Ewoks to join them, I couldn't help but think it was quite like Kurosawa's Seven Samurai. For a silly made for TV ewok movie, that's pretty cool.

These had a good story line but since not realy much movies inpress you you just insult it then see the true creativity and imagiation of it. These folk of today don’t realize how spoiled they are to have all the Star Wars content that is available. When I was a kid, it was just the first three, and this crap. Now they come out with a movie every two years, and TV shows?! TV shows?! Better late then never. So much Lord of the rings in this movie, fellowship of the courage.

Mandalorian is very mediocre. It works just like TFA: brings back many old characters, gives them epic scenes and doen't care about it's own plot. The entire plot of two seasons: Bounty hunter found that his target is baby with the Force, decided to protect him from Imperials, tried to find the Jedi for him and Jedi came to him himself and solved Empire problem. All of that could easily be told in 3-4 episodes if the show had logic and everyone or at least some people knew Luke Skywalker, Jedi who saved the Galaxy 5 years ago, whos sister is leader of New republic and who is creating new Jedi order. We don't even know Mando's personality except he hated droids, but now he doesn't.
