    If all professional sports had self-policing like the NHL, there would be far less buffoonery. Show-boating is what keeps me from watching the other sports. If this happens in hockey, Ryan Reaves (or the like) come have a chat with ya.

      Professional American football is the absolute worst about it. There's always some sort of showboating after every play. God forbid they score a touchdown and I have to watch an entire celebration skit. It's a joke.

      The NHL is way to soft now. Literally nothing would happen. The leading team in Fights had less than 30 this past season. Which is very sad my team had 3 fight 3. The first year I really got into hockey my team had over 110. The NHL has become SUPER SOFT

      No I just prefer tough hockey. Games that are intense and physical. Games now are ok but there is no such thing as a rivalry anymore, hardly any chirping barely any crushing hits and when there is a crushing hit everyone wants the guy suspended. I just ask what happened to tough hockey.

      It is a respect thing. Which on the one hand is dumb, there's all sorts of evil shit players pull that barely gets a reaction. On the other hand they are flying around at forty miles an hour on knife shoes wielding clubs, so it's probably not the worst thing there's extra secret rules.

      he's got a short fuse that's for sure. very competitive and he lets it get to him. although I must admit he was a lot more calm throughout the playoffs and had a pretty big impact on them winning
