With much respect to my Indian friends but the concept of university derived from Academy which is a Greek construct and invention. There are clear archeological findings more than 5000 years old of a civilisation in the Megalopolis valley. For clarification, this list is only based on archaeological findings until now…
Indian civilisation maybe much older than described here and according to the hindu scripts, it is over 200,000 years old. But since no archaeological evidence is found from that period yet, we cannot say it is completely true.
For now humans have managed to find no other civilization older than Egypt and recent research says Mesopotamia is older, but we may find out in the coming years when technology has developed considerably.
The sunken Dwarka probably predates Egypt aswell.

There are two problems with this ranking;
1- You confuse history and archeology (although the two are intimately linked).
2- History is not linear, it is cyclical. civilizations die and other civilizations sometimes completely different are born on the ruins of the previous ones.
