You probably have one of the best US Dragon Ball VHS collections. Some of these have not even been posted on ebay for 4+ years individually- you always find them in lots that have the rest of the series for $$$$.
Yea the vhs we're always and still are insane to get boxes and all as well. It's original db that's insane in edited to get. It was like id get one once a year lol. Also since posting this video I actually completed the US media collection and Have all VHS now
I'm currently 16 years old and recently started collecting dragon ball home video stuff in June 2021. My collection is small, but that's the beauty of this hobby! I currently have every GT DVD (including the green bricks but not the lost episode singles), the first 3 seasons of the orange bricks, the 2015 season 1 Z Blu ray, the 3 imperfect cell saga DVD's, the saga of Goku box set, and the 6th Funimation og dragon ball DVD. I'm eventually going to start collecting VHS tapes too! I come to this video a lot to see what a (nearly) full collection looks like, and it's super inspiring! I'm so excited to continue making progress!

What an awesome collection. Can’t imagine how long this took to put together! To this day I REALLY regret not getting the “Rock the Dragon” box set, which I could have gotten for cheap when it first came out. Of course I had no idea how soon they would go out of print…and now they go for an insane amount of $$$ on eBay. Even I’m not that desperate for it, but damn…
I missed out on it too. I was hunting dboxes at the time because they just went oop. And rock the dragon was selling for less than retail lol I said ill wait, ended up getting one for 200 years later lmao and thanks for the kind words !
Absolutely incredible collection man! I’m sure you have all the season steelbooks by now. One of the parts of my home media collection I’m most proud of is I have two of the big green dub dvds. Also have all the dragon boxes and rock the dragon edition. I have basically all of dbz on vhs but I don’t think I’ll be able to find all the dragon ball vhs sets.

This is so awesome man! I'm from Australia so I've been trying to collect our old DVD boxes as of late. Currently have managed to find all but Saiyan Conflict and Namek Saga but unfortunately none are sealed :(. That would be a dream. The VHS releases in the US are awesome with the artwork. We get none of that on the spine of our releases, even the old VHS (which I as a child tried to collect 1 at a time haha). Super cool to see the Z Warriors Prepare single!

This is a really great collection and I find it weird how the only edited dbz set i noticed that was incomplete from funimation standards is the cell games set.
Yea I know !! They also never finished dragon Ball Tien shinhan,king piccolo, and piccolo jr sagas in uncut and edited format. And they didn't release 2 tapes in the general blue saga uncut and edited. Also they missed 3 movies in Z bio broly, fusion reborn, and wrath of the dragon.

And luckily when I first started I somehow got diverted into the vhs side of things and became obsessed with them lol so I started early instead of putting them off and well it took 7 years to get my VHS like they are now lol and trust me all the sealed stuff is a thing of the past. Heck the eBay searches for vhs are so dry it's crazy nothing rare hardly ever pops up anymore.

I feel the same way about the 30th anniversary edition blu rays super clear and clean! I missed out on those but I’m getting the steel books that are coming out. I think however, my dream way of watching DBZ would be with Kai quality with ocean dub first 52 episodes, then followed by original Funimation 53-end down the line, before the second round of voice over re recordings.
I am starting to collect the edited dragon ball z vhs tapes but my dream is to have those and a perfect remaster by Toei so I can watch the show in full HD in full frame

I just completed the Australian releases after 18 years... from all the dvd collections i liked those the best. Because they are numbered. And i love a they layout and cover arts quality and the box quality's

Do you know anywhere to buy the box set sleeves covers individually?? I have all the DVDs for Majin Buu n fusion saga just no sleeve case. I know u can remake em? If I can't find em could u make em for a fee
Most of the DVDs are still pretty easy to get but the VHS tapes are more rare and hard to find. I would like to get a full VHS collection but I don't have a VCR that works lol so it's easier to just get the DVDs and watch them

You're a really really really really really really really really hardcore collectors fan. I just don't like buying the same release over and over again but you have like multiple copies of the same release I don't want to say you're better than me but I probably would have given up on trying to get every release of DBZ

Oh and I have the ultimate uncut DBZ Vegeta saga DVDs that they cancelled I have 8 I'm missing one cause when I ordered it from Amazon it never came in the mail so I have to reorder it

sadly i am not sure about the madman releases. i just own 2 of them for spine art. also i know here in america the best way to watch db is on blue bricks, but im not sure compared to madman also i doubt they will play on US region devices.

They need to make an app or something where you can watch all the episodes dragon ball, z, gt, super, and the movies and make the menu like dragon ball season one with all the episodes listed then season 2 and so on and then have one for DBZ season 1 episode list so on basically have like everything on an app with all the dragon ball media with a menu and what episode you want to watch or movie you want to watch I know that would probably take up too much memory but I think it would be awesome if someone did that.

@@WinspearUltima I love the rock the dragon but I tried watching the DVD and it was horrendous quality in my opinion lol I guess the Blu-rays look so good it's hard to go back to DVDs haha. Kinda like playing new games then going back to retro games

@@yadi5d230 I can't link them because u will never find them in a lot lol. But they are exactly the same as the vhs. Except there aren't edited releases. The Saiyan and namek are ocean dub. The rest are Funimation.

I wish they did the DVD sets edited as well. I never liked the whole satan thing.
They need to make an app or something where you can watch all the episodes dragon ball, z, gt, super, and the movies and make the menu like dragon ball season one with all the episodes listed then season 2 and so on and then have one for DBZ season 1 episode list so on basically have like everything on an app with all the dragon ball media with a menu and what episode you want to watch or movie you want to watch I know that would probably take up too much memory but I think it would be awesome if someone did that.
That would be and yea it would take alot of memory haha but one massive box set would be amazing!

@@WinspearUltima I love the rock the dragon but I tried watching the DVD and it was horrendous quality in my opinion lol I guess the Blu-rays look so good it's hard to go back to DVDs haha. Kinda like playing new games then going back to retro games
@@RadarForce yeah I like blu ray too it has has a better screen quality and a better resolution, probably should grab the blu rays of resurrection f and super broley. I just like blu ray like a lot but dvds well good for nostalgia but bluray is the future.

@@yadi5d230 I can't link them because u will never find them in a lot lol. But they are exactly the same as the vhs. Except there aren't edited releases. The Saiyan and namek are ocean dub. The rest are Funimation.

That GT complete could be a bootleg. The coloring is slightly off from the other releases and I’ve never seen it.
It's not. It was very abundant back in the day around 2012. I know plenty who own it. Comes with official inserts and legit discs
