So couple things to eventually add to your collection (maybe)
- There were 10 Spanish Dub only singles released by Funimation. They used the Ultimate Uncut covers and the Orange Brick Footage (Vol. 10 uses the unreleased volume cover)
- Discotek put out a DVD set of the first 5 Dr. Slump movies
- there is actually versions of Kai Season One with the Yamamoto score (and Kai Part 3 with Kikuchi). For Season One you can tell by looking at the composer credits on the back as it still credits Yamamoto (tho there are some versions that credit Kikuchi that still feature Yamamoto).
- There are two versions of all the Frieza DVDs. Idk of a way to tell but they have better dub audio bitrates and fix some subtitles issues.
- There is also a second version of Trunks - Mysterious Youth that fixes the subtitle issues that the original has. It has the small blurb in the corner which you can notice by comparing the two versions of Prelude to Terror
- Do you have the Budokai 3 Bonus DVD from the Limited Edition and is it the same from the strategy guide?
- There are 3 super rare History of Trunks soundtrack CDs apparently sent to with copies of the VHS for a bit.
- Dragon Ball Evolution also got a CD
- lastly there is the mythical Vendar tape. Which like that 1994 version of Curse of the Blood Rubies is an alternate dub. This one is of Dead Zone where Garlic Jr. is called Vendar. Can confirm via someone it is real.

Lmao well said. I use to be like you too bro. Got consumed and I got into the VHS. When I realized I potentially could be the only one to ever complete the vhs sets (at least publicly) I decided hey I need to get it all just so I can educate and have a museum of all the media just so if something happens at least it's documented! That was my main goal behind going as far as I did
I enjoy watching the Vegeta saga 1 and 2 DVDs released in 2005 I hated when they cancelled the other releases and started releasing the season sets.
It was an odd time back then lol Funimation couldn't stick to one release and finish it till the end.
DVD Singles on a CRT is the best way to experience DBZ period.

37:23 that Budokai 1 “Epic Battles” pre order is super cool! But I would highly suggest getting a clear jewel case for it. It’ll look better like that too IMO.

Yea but the regular size disc was how it was given lol and the smaller disc, I have a video discussing it's origin, it's actually not a preorder it game with a Gameboy advanced bundle. I own it now !

Incredible collection. Your last collection video inspired me to start collecting VHS, Blu Ray and DVD releases. Hope you've got all the different Super Hero releases as well as the Kakarot Series X/S, and the holy grail French AB Groupe AI Remaster of DBZ.
Thanks and good luck. And no I don't collect media outside of north America lol so I don't have french stuff. Plus I'm not one to complain about the remasters we got over here. I think they look just fine. If not I use a crt tv to watch my original Dvds and they look just fine too!

Favorite video game.... Well it's not north America but Dragon Ball online is. But north American release Budokai 3 for ps2. And most precious item from my collection would be either the fortune teller baba edited vhs or my sample VHS tape of course of the blood rubies

@@RadarForce suncoast would have like 40 of them lol plus the ocean dubs i saw at target a lot. brings back memories. I rarely rarely if ever saw dragonball vhs though.
The best fights came with the Black Label ps2 on the release date I remember I was lucky enough to get a copy and it had the dvd. I still have the dvd in good condition too
You mean the best fights in the disc sleeve ?? So even copies of the game that don't mention bonus disc were given discs in a sleeve ? Sick
@@RadarForceit didn’t come in a sleeve it came with an extension to the case. You can’t replicate that. Thats how you can tell someone is selling you an authentic copy but a bootleg case from ebay lol those go for like $10
@@mikeg8768 you are talking about Tenkaichi 3? Right. So the games come in either a black label, or a label that says bonus disc inside of whatever. Then I found this release of the best fights disc that is in a disc sleeve with Tenkaichi 3 logo and best fights on the sealed sleeve.
I see you are collecting English, but I still wanted to recommend checking out Dragon ball kai ultimate butoden for the NDS. it is an amazing game! the art style has something special, and the gameplay is great with the mini games in combat (like Budokai 3 has) I have had it since 2011 and it is one of my all time favorite games.
I have all of the orange brick releases, I know they aren’t great and have their problems, but its the only practical way to watch it.
And I would have to agree with you, I personally watched my first playthrough on the orange bricks footage. It's once u open that door to other releases when u realize how bad the bricks were. But honestly I'd recommend them to newcomers to the series.
The yu yu hakusho disc I believe was released with both of the games in a 2 pack

I want to take my collection and make a pano scene like those vhs with custom SJ artwork for dvd sub terrain eco the blends into a larger picture program a sub layer invisible outline that is seen by passthrew vr headset cameras that create speaking animations

I created customs tapes via Photoshop and got them printed out professionally and did l the folding necessary to assemble them

A question for anyone who sees this.
Regarding Brand new box sets, in particular the OG releases from back in the early 2000s, do the DVDs also have a security plastic with their own barcode to them?
Reason I’m asking is I’m seeing a lot of “Brand New” box sets on eBay that show that the box has plastic, as well as each dvd having its own plastic with its own barcode on the plastic wrapping.
Any help will be appreciated.
I'm not sure about the DVDs with the barcode but all the DVDs would be wrapped inside the box set !

What would you recommend as the most convenient way of obtaining a release of Kai that uses the Yamato score?
There isn't one. Kai was only partially released with Yamamoto score.

@@miragenights801 so with Kai there are the season sets and the parts. With the parts, I believe 1-4 have Yamamoto score. 5-8 plus the final chapters 1-3 are kikuchi. Now for the season sets, supposedly there's a just a season one with Yamamoto but I've never seen on with it. So the easiest way to obtain the Yamamoto would be the parts 1-4.

No actually although they have some nice ones lol but to save me the headache of hunting more I kept my collection to north American only
@@RadarForce I do understand especially with Japanese shipping costs, while the only thing I got was the DBS soundtrack, both volumes, some of the stuff is really interesting, I will keep my DVD/Blu-ray to American only. This collection is pretty impressive at the end of the day. I can't ever imagine having that big of a collection.

Just would like to add for Raging Blast 2, there are 2 different versions. One has the Yamamoto music and the other has music from Budokai Tenkaichi 3. Just letting you know that in case you didn’t. Lol

When I started some of the rare VHS tapes weren't even known to exist and I single handedly figured that out by finding them lol and then I wanted to educate the world so I made my account lol. Not saying I was the first to own them because I'm not but no one on the internet could confirm they had one or pictures. So I was the first to educate the world on their existence

There's about 300 DVDs as of current releases. Although u don't need all those to finish the series. They have just re released the show a thousand times lol to finish the series u just need 9 seasons. Depending on which version u get.
I just recently bought the 30th anniversary set since it came back in stock on Crunchyroll. How do you store your 30th blu rays? Do you actually keep them/remove them from the sleeves? Or do you keep the discs in a different case so they don’t get damaged? I’m a bit worried about them being damaged over time
Good question lol I don't use the disc 😝 I use the steelbooks or another equal release
If I would've known they would've rereleased it I would of never opened my 30th set

Hi, I don’t know how active your channel is but there are toonami broadcast or edited uploads for your custom tapes. If you really wanted to download the mp4s, edit out bumpers and record to blank VHS. At least they would be screen accurate.

Got lucky years ago. Lol search eBay Australia. And hopefully someone will ship. Also you know the madman DVD won't play on north American DVD players. The DVD case is strictly for looks at least in my case

@@TheJROBB16 oh u said bandai which threw me for a loop. Bandai only made the games bro, but your talking about original VHS and DVD box sets? So all of dbz VHS had box sets except for cell games and great Saiyaman, all of dbz DVDs had box sets except for captain Ginyu, Frieza, trunks.
Original dragon ball vhs only had a box set for the saga of Goku, same for the DVDs, dbgt VHS has no box sets, dbgt DVDs has all 4 box sets. Hope that answers your question

Honestly I've watched Kai and actually enjoyed it a lot. But some dialogue in Z is just so nostalgic

Eeeh got most of it 10 years ago when it was dirt cheap. Only finishing up has cost alot.
Not trying to be mean, but half Of those releases have over saturated colors then the original masters.
That's not the point of buying them...... This is about owning all north American releases. It's called collecting, if I wanted just the best release why would I have bought all of these lol

Lmao thanks bro but I'm fine, I'm nowhere near as bad as most collectors, all other collectors don't set an end goal. So they end up just being hoarders. My collection ends with all north American releases. Thus when finished that's it. It stops with that. Trust me I don't want anymore after this. But thanks for the insight, it seems as if you just want to collect and can't :p you should try it
