- A recent blast of winter blankets the hills with over a meter of snow and cool spring air. The first juicy looking fly day presents itself. It's time to break some trail to launch and get into that sweet sweet cloud street.

Great flight, beautiful that you can do that in winter
It's not exactly an LZ' everywhere kind of site, but there are beaches where you need them. The flight was COLD but the air was too good to pass up.
Lovely cloud surfing and a really nice edit. Thank you for taking me along.

Wonderful with the fresh snow! The place looks remote and yet so close to Vancouver. Had your glides to an lz always worked out? The sea to sky is a busy Highway!
Flying amongst those mountains in full winter conditions is such a treat! And yes, I had LZ's on glide during the whole flight on that day. In different conditions (more wind and less lift etc), doing the run at that height could definitely put you out of range.

Oh man, it was a great first xc fly of the year. Usually it's better with a much higher base, but sometimes it gifts you with a sweet low base and an endless cloud Street. There's a nice beach to land on.
