- Safety training with Flugschule Salzburg at Lago di Garda - Italy. We had challenging weather (clouds, fog, rain, strong wind) and in between some garda moments with sun 😅
I flew my Advance XI (23) with my Skywalk Range X-Alps 2 pod harness. Claudia flew the same setup with her XI (21).
We had fun doing some deep spiral, full stall, sat and all kinds of collapses while being on the radio with Niko and Josi

after I'll have spent more time in the air flying the regular paragliding routine, the SIV looks like fun :) though I might need to change my pants a couple of times ;D

i noticed some of the gliders have little winglet things near the tips.. what do they do?
I think that it was proven, that it does nothing at all, but it remained there as I signature of this brand..
Servus Philip! Tolles Video wie immer! Man lest über den Xi ja viel gutes. Auch das er im Range der High-B Schirme einer der gutmütigeren sei... Meine Frage wäre wie hoch du den Pilotenanspruch einschätzt. Hast du den Eindruck das er im B Bereich in puncto passiver Sicherheit eher ein heisses Eisen ist?

Ja der Xi ist schon ein toller Schirm und in seiner Klasse sicher einer der Leistungsstärksten. Ich fühle mich damit auch sehr Sicher. Mein Eindruck hat sich dann im Sicherheitstraining auch bestätigt.
Aber wie sehr viele Schirme im High B Segment können die auch mal ihre Krallen zeigen. Also man sollte schon ausreichend Flugerfahrung haben und min. 80 Flüge im Jahr machen. So zumindest meine Einschätzung.
Ich bin aber kein professioneller Testpilot oder Fluglehrer. Das ist nur mein Eindruck mit 8 Jahren Flugerfahrung und ~1400 Flüge

sehr gut. die ganzen beschleunigten klapper waren auch super zum handeln, war sehr zufrieden :)
was für ein Rettungssystem ist das bei 4:40, kenne ich nur von Fallschirmen nach automatischer Trennung ???
Du meinst das bei 4:25 oder? Das ist ein Acro-Base Gurtzeug. Da trennt man sich automatisch vom Schirm und gleichzeitig wird ein Base-Fallschirm geöffnet
Bei 4:40 das ist eine normale Rundkappe

Best thing you can do is find a paragliding school that does organize SIV trainings. I did mine at Flugschule Salzburg 👌

Ja das mit der Musik ist immer so eine Sache. Ich tu mir extrem schwer da immer was passendes zu finden. Das vom Sicherheitstraining war zumindest mal eine lizenzfreie Musik.
Bei den meisten anderen Videos bekomm ich den Hinweis dass das Video zwar gespielt werden darf, ich es aber nicht monetarisieren darf. Aber das mache ich ohnehin nicht, also stört mich das nicht weiter 🙈
@@philipbrugger Oke super! Ich wollte dich nur darauf hinweisen. Mir geht's leider auch selbst immer so, ich nutze aber nur die lizenzfreie Musik von der Audio library, obwohl die nicht so geil ist ;)
