I absolutely love the light grey jacket, white shirt, navy pants look. To me, it works better than navy on top and grey below. Esp with the light grey. The causal look with the beige/oatmeal jacket is pretty nice too!
I really like the 2nd & 4th look. The 4th look has a classic Sean Connery James Bond feel. Really like it. I like how the polo has a different Aesthetic than we usually see.
Can’t go wrong with chinos. They come in endless colors and fits, everyone can find a pair that works for them. I live in them year round (lightweight for spring/summer, regular weight for fall/winter).

@@hespokestyle Well, one of the likes is, on the whole, variety. All of my favorite TH-camrs have their own styles and their own views on clothes and how to and how not to wear them. Their ways to style their clothes are not necessarily something I want to emulate every time I see their styling, but I can gain various perspectives on what they think is important and what they are paying attention to. One of the dislikes, which maybe I shouldn't criticize very much, is a lack of high intelligence and pervasiveness of superficiality and commercialism among viewers and creators. They typically try to grab attention, gain more viewers, and end up making rather shallow videos over and over again without making us realize how important it is to just be honest, as is often seen in videos like "how to make her approach you" or some sorts, which, in my view, are plain manipulative and unethical. Lots of viewers don't seem to get tired of this. Even though the field of clothing is very broad and deep and has many things to think deeply about, what lots of people are mainly interested in seems to be just how to make themselves look good, become "confident", and make others do something for themselves. This superficiality might be the case especially in Japan. Maybe it's a little bit worse because of the commercialism that pervades in the Japanese fashion industry. I have been thinking of how to integrate my Japanese identity with wardrobe of essentially western origin. I haven't gotten any good inspiration yet, but I have been somehow attracted to something classic and timeless, something that has survived for a long period of time. Not a fashion or trend, but a universal beauty in clothing. This might be the reason why I like your style, and hopefully, your style gives me some kind of inspiration when I establish my own unique, elegant style. :)
Great video Brian 👌 finally really pushing some warmer weather outfit ideas 🙌. That t-shirt jacket outfit is more my cup of tea than the full suit version 👍
Excellent video as always. I have found this channel to be one of the best channels about menswear on the internet. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creativity. You are a truly gentleman. 🙂
The #3 is one of my favorite summer outfits for the evening - when it's not too hot and humid - with suede dark brown oxfords instead of loafers. Sometimes I add a navy polka dots ascot too. Thank you for this video, Brian.
With the level of style you have, I am always in anticipation of your next upload, and my curiosity turns into ecstasy whenever you upload a video. Outfit #1:Classic summer business casual look. The classic navy blazer paired with a pair of stone chinos instead of your uniform grey flannels is a great summer choice. The white pocket square with navy dots works so well with the outfit, the navy dots provide contrast to the light blue shirt whilst pulling in the navy blazer. The brown geometric pattern tie is unique and stylish and a great centre piece to the outfit. The horsebit loafers are perfect choice for a summer business casual look. Outfit #2: This is my favourite outfit. The pattern of the sport coat co-ordinates so well with the chinos. It's beyond magnificent. The simple white shirt is always a good choice paired with a simple white pocket square. Absolutely love the braided tassel loafers as they add an element of depth to the whole look. I love this outfit the most as I can imagine wearing this myself in multiple situations and as I live in a tropical country, this is a perfect 3 season outfit. Outfit #3: The fabric of the jacket like you said makes it a summery look, but aesthetically speaking, it's an all year round simple business casual outfit. Light grey blazer and navy chinos are a classic combo, and so is a white shirt. Love how you opted for the suede loafers as they add a summary vibe to the look. Outfit #4: A decent outfit, it's very sporty, and admittedly not something that I am a fan off. The only thing that I found off putting about this outfit was the texture of the jacket which was clashing with the white t-shirt. The navy chinos with the white sneakers is always a good combo, but I would much rather wear a full casual suit with a t-shirt and white sneakers instead of an odd jacket and trousers. In my humble opinion, a casual suit is much more flexible to combine with t-shirts and sneakers as opposed to an odd jacket and trousers. Outfit #5: Simple, elegant and easy to wear summer look. The light tan polo with white chinos is a very good combo, and the suede shoes are perfect for this look. This would have been my favourite outfit, but I find this look to be slightly incomplete. A nice Panama hat would've really completed the look. Outfit #6: I do get the nautical vibe of this look, but I feel like a denim shirt with a blazer is not a very practical option for the summer. The boat shoes would've worked if they were a darker colour, but the oranageish boat shoes look a bit eccentric.
Really like the unlined jacket idea!!! I know you have mentioned it before in other videos. I may go and have a made to measure sports coat made without a lining. Thanks for the idea.
Great video and great timing. I just bought my first pair of chinos (grey) to upgrade my jeans in my casual wardrobe. Some nice suggestions there, thanks.
That intro was an unexpected change of pace from your usual relaxed vibe to something with a bit flair of celebration. I think it has something to do with summer, eh. Have to say, all of them look amazing and I can see myself pull them off because they're classic and versatile which means I can get a lot of wear from just one item. Now you make me jealous of your sport coats collection, they're stunning and I need to invest on few after I get my navy suit in the future. Always like this video and I'm looking forward to the next one. Cheers 😊
Look 5 is my favorite! Especially because of the seemingly effortless and summery color combination (white, light tan and light grey/stone). „Seemingly effortless“ because it‘s in fact very well thought out. :)
I've never quite liked cotton chinos to be honest, but I lately bought a white pair and I wear it frequently. I do still prefer linen trousers in the summer, probably because I rarely need to dress in a more formal way (I bet cotton chinos would be more appropriate then) and just want to have some fun with my clothes. Great new intro, by the way!
Great looks! Liked the first and third one the most, with the third being a long time go-to look for me. I really like your style inspiration videos, I keep them around whenever I need to refine an outfit for any special occasion. I also dig the new intro! Cheers, Brian
Great collection. I usually make it a rule to try and match my watch strap to my belt, i.e brown strap + brown belt. Was this wrong? I noticed you went black watch / brown belt for outfit 5. I noticed the gold on the case went beautifully with the shoe buckles and the sunglasses. Really great touch. I love
Hello, I know this video is 3 years old but I would love to know what brand etc. the brown polo tshirt is seen at 3 minutes 53. It looks absolutely amazing. I would love to buy something similar but have never seen it for sale anywhere.
Snazzy new intro Brian! Stone/navy chinos are my default pants, they're so versatile pretty much all year around (except maybe the coldest days in the winter). Look #1 is such a classic pairing, yet by just changing the tie I think you've transformed the look into something very refreshing. Look #3 I think is another business casual classic, but I think your attention to detail really shines through. The sort of look that can blend in with the crowd yet the fit and other fine points make you stand out from the crowd. Look #6 has this "American Riviera" vibe to it: I really dig this look! I think when I wear something similar to it, I'll be rolling up the pant legs one more time to emphasize the nautical nature. I can already sense this is one of those videos I'll be returning to quite frequently! By the way, summer is going by but I would love to see more tonal outfits from you, especially for the summer. :) - Han

@@hespokestyle Amazing - will definitely be picking up a few pairs! Looking forward to the launch.
Loove this video as i have some of these items. First style is my go to outfit. Love the white chinos look too. The polo is damn cool 👌 Where's the horsebit loafers from?
Nice! The loafers are by Allen Edmonds. The model is the Grand Cayman, which has been discontinued for quite some time. I got this pair about eight years ago.
Thank you Brian
