Dude thanks so much again for doing this request- they're honestly a hidden gem. Also so glad you've continued listening to them and songs have grown on you. That chorus to Blackest of Birds is honestly one of the best I've heard- legit Eargasmic.
Yeah man Charlie Simpson is a phenomenal clean and harsh vocalist. Gotta also give props to Alex Westaway who's the second clean vocalist (really high almost feminine voice)- they're both a match made in heaven. There's a lot more interplay in their older stuff which I'll request soon.

So nice to see someone reacting to full Fightstar albums. I can understand if you thing they are more "Growers" than hitting you at first go. I find there is so much depth, diversity, and emotion to Fightstar albums. Every album is different to the one both before and after it, which only goes to show quite how incredibly diverse they are (given how each album already has diversity within it). I saw you reacted to Grand Unification, too. Please, do listen to it a few more times and you might find a few more of those songs also grow on you.
I also found it interesting that you mentioned VOLA. I found VOLA in about 2015 after the release of Inmazes. I loved them because they reminded me of Fightstar!
