But. Sometimes it is fun to watch just for a storyline. Like once, at Tubi, i watched the Donna McKechnie episodes about Charles Delaware Tate. She was paired with Grayson Hall for those and it was fun. Also the 1995 storyline. And then the very end of the series where Grayson was opposite Keith Prentice a lot. I am a Grayson Hall fan if you cant tell.
I love Julia and I love Willie I miss them may they both please rest in peace and Barnabas too everybody that we lost from Dark Shadows but I love Willie and Julia❤❤❤❤🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤
I was fortunate enough to remember this awesome show still coming out with new episodes in the late 60s . Ive seen every episode from the start to the end as well as the update episode on where everybody went. The Movie was pretty wild as well. Thank you for sharing
Time traveling, to get the back stories, is so much fun in the strange world of the Collinses. There are so many characters to enjoy. I particularly like Ben Stokes, the ever humble and dog-loyal servant predecessor to the conflicted Willy Loomis. What I've observed is that both, through their own self-questioning and humanity, return much of the same to the perpetually agitated and tormented Barnabas. They each act as examples and reminders of his suppressed innate goodness, and as buffers to plans and deeds he might carry out while inflicted with the curse.
I hope that you enjoy the early episodes. Many of us have really liked the Black and White episodes. There is a mystery and a reference to ghosts, but the early episodes didn't jump right in to the supernatural.
Wow, Barnabas did come back to the present safely in a chained coffin & reverted back to a human form again after completing his mission from 1796 after all. Yay, (I applauded) But he did it the hard way though. Kudos to Ben Stokes. 👍👍✌✌
How I wish Willie had been in more episodes. I have a hard time watching any episode (or portion of an episode) that doesn't have Barnabas in it. But I could watch Willie all day long :)
Julia is a brilliant character, acted in perfect melodramatic style…not too much…with pathos and style….what a wonderful actress Grayson Hall (born Shirley Grossman) was! 😲 This series had the greatest professionals I have ever seen, they all made this gothic horror a legend and one of the crown jewels of American tv entertainment….God bless them…and God bless America too! 🇺🇸😉🧛🏻
@Marilyn Willett There is an interview with Sam Hall who was married for many years to Grayson Hall. He commented on how they had to be careful because Grayson would overact on the last line before commercial!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Dark Shadows is now and forever the best that's all I can say the best I love everything I just hate it when somebody got killed for nothing Julia made it Magda countess dupree everything seems to be okay when Julia was around for a while anyway I love John karlen back then I miss Willie really was so unaware and innocent he just went on to do the best he could he would have made a great best friend but Willie had a good heart we not even going to talk about Angelique🤣🤣🤣 oh my goodness St. Martinique was a mistake "oooooooo" "no"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I loved all the characters of Dark Shadows even the old caretaker wow Barnabas asked him did you hear voices or didnt you I thought Barnabas was going to eat him alive I'm going to name some of the characters Harry Johnson Aunt Hannah beth Chavez Magda Countess du pre, hey Victoria Winters Maggie Berk Devlin Jeremiah oh my goodness it's so many I can't do them all but I love them all oh yes Mrs Stoddard and Roger and Elizabeth and sexy Quinton David and Amy Tom and Chris Jennings Ben Stokes Professor Stokes Mrs Johnson count petofi Joe Haskell amisteed the blue whale the eagle Sam Evans but I will never stay in that house Collinwood or the old house or at any place in collinsport🌪🌪🌪🤭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🍻😂🥂🙈🤷♂️⚰⚰⚰🚬🚬🩺🩸💉🧹🧻🐵🤣🤣👋👋👋👋👋
I remember Tony Peterson witnessing Barnabas biting Carolyn and thinking he was kissing her neck. He chastised Carolyn for being involved with "that old man."
Willie got a lot to cry about would have been taking a lot of escape goat situations would have been a whipping boy really got a lot to cry about we have covered up a lot of ass would it knows where a lot of bodies are buried you really knows a lot of stuff that a lot of people don't know if you was in Willie's shoes what would you do I give Willie courage he deserve to have a lot to cry about
Love watching this when a approaching thunderstorms adds to the special effects
What a great show.all the actors are great.barnabus is the best.
Watching specific segments here on TH-cam is honestly way better than watching the whole episodes on Tubi. Long live Dark Shadows 👑
No adds!!!
Great tip, Dan.
I'm doing both.
No..the Entire episodes are Best for serious Fans. But for the ADHD..maybe not.

Angelique is not destroyed forever, only for awhile. She'll be back when Barnabas thinks he is completely free from her and he least expects it.

Love “The Innocents” timeline with David & Amy and the introduction of the fabulous QUENTIN COLLINS❣️

I ENJOYED WATCHING DARK SHADOWS! GOING BACK TO THE BEGINNING SERIES!

Sorry. For those who may not know, Sam Hall was a writer for Dark Shadows.
I agree with you about Grayson Hall. I excited for some of the 1897 videos that I'm working on where Grayson is playing Magda.

Thank you so much. I know that you are an avid viewer and always appreciate your comments.
@@darkshadowsfansunite8140 this is the least I can do 😘 🧛♀️
Great Episode
This is the first time I've seen Dark Shadows since 1970's .
Welcome to the DS world. I have a lot of content like this on my channel.
That nosy little Amy always has to make trouble
I wish TH-cam would show the whole series of Dark Shadows again. At one time I watched all of the series but can’t find it now. 😡
It’s on tubi
I have all of it on dvd.
I love Barnabas ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Classic. Amy was in Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory. RIP
She was Violet
The actress's name is Denise Nickerson 🌹
I love Willie I always will❤🥂
Don't remember the clip where Willie/Julia found Barnabas.
I just realized Frid was in his mid 40s when he played a 25 year old!
Yes. It makes the romances with Vicki, Maggie and Carolyn a little bit creepy since the dear man did look his age.
I remember Tony Peterson witnessing Barnabas biting Carolyn and thinking he was kissing her neck. He chastised Carolyn for being involved with "that old man."
There is a window in the secret room.
Why were people always mucking about in the cemetery after dark?
Jossette saved Barnabas ❤
Looks like Joshua Collins is getting the short stick. Amy didn't leave any flowers on his grave.
Jonathon Frid is the BEST Vampire
Guessing the "game" about to be played is Doctor
Yayyy ‼️👍
Aaaaaaaaaahwwwwwww!!!!¡!!!!!!!! shat up you ol' Williiiiiiieeeeeeeie!!!!!!!! You've always have something to cry about!!!!!!!!!

weird how the first episode featured here is number 666...😱
I noticed that numbered episode too!
@@those_eyes freaky!
I always thought David was a brat ..
episode 666 ? YIKES!
Yes yes yes yes yes 🥰
Love your comment. It says it all!
The acting in this show is so bad! Why do we love it!
Your right bad acting and flubed lines in every scene, i think thats why we love it we look and wait for all of the mistakes.😂😅
no coincidence this was episode 666
This is so campy and i am only 4 minutes in. The acting is so weird and stilted when Willie finds her talking to herself in the foggy graveyard.
Then don't watch it!
@@darleneprewitt2535 are you kidding me?? I cannot STOP watching this. Haha. I love Dark Shadows!! Hugs!!
