    Lisa,
    This was so helpful! Now I feel confident using my machine. Like you, it was given to me by my daughters for retirement. I haven't used it yet, but look forward to getting started. Loved your tape idea to extend the use of your mat.

    Fantastic Class Lisa.. You had a lot to do with all the technology and the camera, Great Job!! And the information is priceless for me. I asked about the pricing earlier today and you were so kind to answer with all the details... I am pricing the scan n cut for sure and it will be my Christmas present from my husband... I can't afford the latest and greatest... but there are other quality machines out there. I am afraid to buy used because of getting burned with that circuit I spent 500 on years ago and I got the accessories that are all still in the wrappers and never used.... I think I will get one on amazon and use their payment option and have it paid for by Christmas. Thank you so much Lisa. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

    Once you bring your SVG into Canvas, you don't have to delete parts. All you have to do is hide the parts you do not want to cut by clicking on the "eyeball" in the layers panel. Once hidden, only the par(s)t you want to cut is transferred to the SnC machine. This saves you from having to keep bringing the SVG back into Canvas.

    Hi Lisa! Just finished watching the replay and I have to say Thank You very much-this was a very good and clear way to see your process and it really helped to take the mystery out of how the scan n cut works especially for those of us who don’t have a machine yet! I purchased a silhouette for my daughter who I live with so I am definitely going to be trying it out for my appliqué! My Daughter uses it mostly with the vinyl!

    Just watched replay to catch what I missed as I had to leave Zoom early. Thank you for sharing your process. Also love your idea of a little book with written settings in it. Thanks again. Hope you do this again sometime. I’m really trying to learn how to Zoom.

    Hi Lisa, I'm watching your replay here and you had a lady asking about buying a scan and cut. I got mine from Amazon and paid monthly payments of $56 and some change. Just to let her know. Because it wasn't in my budget either until I found that way. So she can check that out

    I have really enjoyed your videos. Thank you. But I am wondering why you don’t remove the paper from the back before you put the fabric on the mat? I really like the tape you are using. I need some. LOL Thanks.

    Can wool fabric be cut with the scan and cut?

    • @TheQuiltmakerHomestead
      @TheQuiltmakerHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it can be cut, however you want to adjust your blade depth according to the thickness of the wool :)

    One question,, if a pdf picture has been mirrored do you have to do anything special

    • @TheQuiltmakerHomestead
      @TheQuiltmakerHomestead  ปีที่แล้ว

      depends on if you want to cut a mirrored image or not :) If not, you can switch it the other way in the machine settings after scanning
