Hello Lisa I just wanted to say there comes a time in a season for all good things, when we need to step back and enjoy life just a little bit. Not that we go back on any of our heartfelt obligations. But we need to slow down just a bit take some time to relax a little. You have certainly earned this privilege by all means. I got a head-start on my Christmas sewing, & am so thankful to have time to just enjoy everything else. I have tried sewing when i dont "feel" like it...forcing myself to "be creative". Doesn't work. Then i simply ask THE Creator, & WHAT A DIFFERENCE prayer makes!!! You have lots of loved ones on your channel, & all of us are rooting for you. You are strong in God...keep following Your Leader. This was a great tutorial! I am not the best at appliqué sewing, so I made the bobbin the same color as my back fabric so it wouldn’t show as much. I will make a few of these to practice.

if your using heat and bond all you have to do is fold the very edge toward the paper side and it comes right apart

Lisa I love doing your projects. The only one I have trouble with is the trivet potholder. It is so thick that I cannot get it under my foot on my machine. Do you have any suggestions? I have the walking foot and regular and I cannot get it under there to make it look nice.
Hi Cindy, hmmmm there are so many variations to think about. What machine are you using? What type of batting are you using? And fabric? How many layers of batting?? When you mention you can not get everything under there.....I am wondering if elimating a layer of batting would make it any easier?
I thought your patterns were free for a few days, but you just put this out yesterday and it is already on etsy?
Patterns released on Friday's are free, you must have missed this past Friday's video??

@@carolynperez862 in Friday's video I mentioned the snowman trivet going directly in the Etsy shop. Friday's video was for a snowflake applique, which was free. Unfortunately I can't do EVERYTHING for free or I'll have to go get a different job and no more videos lol.
