I want you to know that you are reviving a classic genre of minecraft that has been unfortunately dead for the past few years. Not to say NOBODY has made new Horror maps but I haven't seen much popularity in which a content creator would make more videos on them.

What happened at 8:10 is a common graphical bug, sometimes the game fails to unload the correct blocks when culling what isnt seen by the player. It is persistant too, if you were to stand in the exact position with the exact camera angle you were when it happened it would occur again for aslong as you are in that exact spot.

Today was my first exploration in a basement of an abandoned hotel near the coast, and oh man, I wish I could show photos, it was amazing. Really Backrooms / Liminal Spaces Vibes. Again thanks and keep it up with the videos, your channel and your ramblings about horror stuff are really comfy and cool!!!! (Note: sorry if there are language mistakes, English is not my first language)
the door opening sound kinda sounds like there's a voice in it. like during the recording someone was saying someting and they didn't manage to edit it out

imagine more of the "unfinished" horror maps that are specifically made to spook you with the appearance of being unfinished. i feel that the "found dizzle229" repeated could be expanded upon. kind of a similar horror to how herobrine just shows up in your happy little minecraft game.
I recommend this map last time, (and I watched this right when it uploaded but I forgot to comment lol,) but PLEASE; if you wanna play a map on the same level of mind-blowing technicality like Back to School with a more competently written storyline, play the map titled “Late”. It is simply SO fantastic and not enough people talk about it; I think you’ll be genuinely impressed.
My theory for the story is this: The player character is a man that committed a horrible crime in his past. Perhaps a cult sacrifice thing. Then he gets imprisoned and sentenced to being harvested for whatever future energy thing was in the lab. While the harvesting is taking place, he's hallucinating the experiences of his victims. Then the first ending is him waking up in a delirium, and getting gunned down. The second ending is just the conclusion of his hallucination where satan comes and gets him as a sort of justice for his crimes.
The librarian has been hitting on spot with all these recently but I can't wait for another one like abyssal plane to come out that one sent chills down my spine keep up the good work
Seeing all these Minecraft horror maps reminds me of when I was younger when people like skydoeaminecraft dantdm and stampy played them it’s really nostalgic and makes me happy to see you play
So from my understanding...WWIII happened and they lost the majority of their power sources. They then discovered that adrenaline could be turned into power so they began harvesting adrenaline from people by putting them through traumatic nightmares which causes adrenaline flow which they collect to turn into power.
1:42 Only names I recognize are Killercreeper, DanTDM, and Xisumavoid. You already know the former, but the latter are TH-camrs who have been making primarily Minecraft content for over a decade. DanTDM really needs no introduction, but Xisuma is the owner of the Hermitcraft server and has been since the latter two thirds of season 1.
Damn, this would've worked so well in some other game without blocky graphics. I usually don't care about graphics, but it's hard for me to immerse myself in Minecraft. The story of possesed people killing children is truly terrifying, and giving that idea that there is zombie apocalypse in the beginning, you being locked underground or inside a building and uncovering the horrors of it and knowing if you go outside you'll face another threat, that's pretty unique idea.
I came here expecting to watch a Minecraft creepy pasta Like Herobrine or something, i left with brown pants and need of a lobotomy. Great job map creators, and great you you did mr.librarian, amazing content
the electric sparks and shattering lightbulb at around 9:25 were the worst, i hate high-pitched sounds that get mixed to sound so close to my ears i thought my headphones were broken somehow and i should throw them out before they burst into flames

There is a Doom mod that makes it into a Sonic game and a mod for that Sonic game what makes it into a Kart Racer with online play. There is a Multiplayer Mod for SM64 and someone pushing the game far past what normal SM64 is but playable on console. If people are willing to sit down long enough they can make any game into literally anything, it is all just code. You'd be surprised how normal these things actually are, just like the 100 different communities who have said for years in and out "Our game is good and proof of that is we are still learning stuff!!!" despite it applying to most games even old ones. The real impressive bit is the people who sat down and figured out how to make this stuff work then shared the information with the community. The people who basically make editing software for the fans.
I would also recommend a cool map, i forgot the creator, but it’s called *lights out* it’s a really old one but still scary, the protagonist even talks.

My lil headcanon is that the real ending is saying that humans are put into some sort of simulation or coma and experiencing these feverdream/nightmare scenarios to generate adrenaline, which is used as an energy source. So the rest of the map and the bad end isn't real and doesn't really have to make sense or mean anything, its just meant to make the person experiencing it scared/confused so they generate adrenaline.
I'd much rather not see the "error" tellraws at 25:56. Maybe they could've made it to say the default text resulted from using an invalid command? And I'm here, enjoying these horror cruises with only less of a quarter of the screen visible.
You should also definitely play the map "Asleep" its a Minecraft map that goes throughout all kinds of dreams its a really good map hope you will play it cuz theres also asleep 2 which is also very nice
I remember this map from the days I watched DanTDM, when Minecraft Story Mode: Season 1 was new, when the worst thing that happened recently was the previous possibility of something todo with the Mayans ending the world
The video was a real throwback, but the fact you so casually glossed over the statue of DanTDM, in the beginning, made me feel kinda old😆 Edit: Also play the Dollmaker, a real classic in Minecraft horror.
I would argue Trial of Mcdonalds and Pachecos Hell are some of his weaker maps. Still better than 90% of horror maps out there. But Demon Brain, The Hole and Poison are peak Minecraft Horror.
The story I got from it 15 Kids murdered on Christmas day in the year 2861 Lab of the RoT Brains had something to do with the accident The Priest was Possessed by the devil or something Twisted into a mad man The priest Kills the Kids which I think where orphans cause why They living in the Church unless they needed it The Doctor working on People to Modified Demon like Creatures Would cause this I feel like the Doctor of the Lab had A Say in all this But the problem is he doesn’t fit the story well at the end RIP The poor kids who died a Horrible death to there priest who got possessed to kill the kids I think the priest went on to murder more people than Committed Suicide over the guilt of killing people due to the doctor and demons working together Scary tale
The reason why the game was lagging at the start is because of all the player heads. Game just as soon as you see the heads tries to load all the player skins at once.
