I cannot wait to hear Joseph talk about Elizabeth Banks’ hair. Also, while I watched the movie it appears that Elizabeth Banks is morphing into a Chelsea Handler look alike.
Getting free car care from a man that looks like Erik Palladino sounds like a dream come true.
The script needs exfoliation🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
lol. This background choice
Ever since I found this channel I watch movies and then come on here to see if you guys have a review of it 😂 I love that you also review less known and visible films like this. I was amused by this film. She really reminded me of those recent Shania Twain pictures when she's in the gun store 😂
1:04 love the Birdcage reference😂 bet the kids don't get it though
How about those dolphins?
Can't wait to see your guys alien review
So many things didn't make sense in this movie, my SIL and I just watched it and we had a lot of questions at the end. I thought maybe we were just too stoned and missed a bunch of stuff but you guys talked about a lot of the same things we were trying to figure out so thanks for making me feel validated 😂
Can I Afterpay a Patreon review? Nick’s Birdcage reference and Joseph’s immediate derision makes me want a review so bad. 😂
Im an aesthetician and i cant wait to critique this movie! I am obsessed with yalls channel ❤
I think the movie is a Hollywood satire. I think it was almost a great movie. And I actually did like her!
I love your reviews !! You guys rock
Agreed, this film fell way short of the trailer. And I’m glad I’m not the only one who zeroed in on those extensions 😂 I did a double feature and saw “Rob Peace” immediately after, which was great. So that’s the film I’m gonna recommend lol. Great review as always guys ❤️
Literally your guys review about the movie is exactly how I feel about it like so predictable and they def made us disdain Elizabeth banks character but overall is was an easy watch other than the predictability and like hopes choices were choices 🤨😩
The bodybuilders inthe background ooh la la 😎
WOW! At around the 16:40 mark I hear a vehicle outside being super loud while driving past the house. Another movie review content provider Movies and Sue has this issue frequently as well.
The motivation behind Lewis Pullman’s character is that he was in love with Elizabeth Banks so he thought by sabotaging her it would look like Angel did it and framing him would eliminate her competition. This reminded me a lot of a Cohen Brothers movie, something like burn after reading. I liked it quite a bit!
In my opinion" Aliens, Alien Resurrection, and Alien are the best in the Franchise! Ain't nobody does it better than Sigourney Weaver"!💋💋💋
The back of her head is ridiculous 😂😂😂
I knew Nick’s pull quote would be epic! It was fabulous!
This movie needed to lean into the potential campiness more, sounds like it takes itself a bit too seriously.
I just saw this. I'm going to try and guess your score. 3/5.
It was well acted and suspenseful. But ultimately the whole reason for the stalking was as stupid as it was crazy, especially for a someone who seemed so well put together and charming. Apparently this was based on true events but it definitely feels like fiction.
I was so close. A .5 off. I was thinking "no, I should guess lower. They aren't going to like this plot. It doesn't make enough sense." But I kept with my initial guess.
This is an episode of Columbo.
Walk of shame movie, is a good time.
Great video! ❤
I ended up liking this movie a good bit. It could’ve been better but I was engrossed by it.
My name is Edward Feinstein, and I was involved this case. I have a video on my youtube that explains what reslly went down. Also happy to talk to you guys and fill in the blanks.
Your question for what was likable, answered in the negative tone by Nick, had more 'urgency' than this whole plot - 😄*I asked what you liked...*
Yall need to review The Supremes movie!
*Spoilers*
I thought the private investigator was going to be revealed as being hired by Wendy Malick's character who Lewis is scamming at the same time. Then we could have learned that he targets wealthy women or something like that. Malick doesn't even appear after her one scene.
Initially, I thought Lewis was going to be an Onlyfans model who pretends to be a life coach while really selling his body. It could have been an interesting commentary on how social media influencers transition into the adult space, but instead the scene of him camming in his underwear is just random. I pegged Lewis as the stalker as soon as he magically shows up at exactly the right time to throw the guy out of Bank's studio.
I also thought it was incredibly dumb of Banks to throw a fit at Angel's studio while she was being cyber stalked knowing that businesses have cameras everywhere. An entire movie about cyber stalking could have made a more interesting film in and of itself. Instead the movie is a pretty straightforward Lifetime pic that ventures into dark territory but doesn't go all the way.
Elizabeth Banks directed some terrible movies but the woman is one of the best actresses working in Hollywood these days. I especially love her when she plays a scary/psycho role.
Think I'm more excited for THE SUBSTANCE, than seeing this" Fun Fact" Joseph, I know you're a huge fan of Janet Jackson. Did you know that Stevie Wonder " Tracy Chapman" and Samuel L Jackson " are all Janet Jackson's cousins!!👍😎👍😎👍😎
I knew about Stevie, but I did not know about the other two. Fun fact indeed.
Will you guys be reviewing Alien Romulous? I just watched it and i’m curious on your thoughts!
Yes, on Sunday.
I wonder how the conditions under which this film was made compares to the legal issues of "Baby Reindeer"
Fairly predictable but a fun ride nonetheless. I thought Lewis Pullman's character was hilarious, and Elizabeth Banks was actually not cringe for once! It's nice to be able to laugh at vapid people and what they will do to get and stay on top.
I thought it'd be much more unhinged as well. But not overly terrible
Angel mentioned her car, she has a memorable car and she has no tint. That whole scene bothered me.
I can’t remember the last time you two liked a movie
We liked the movie for the review we posted 7 days ago.
I find that majority of movies are tolerable, not really bad or good. Then you have the few really good ones and then the few really bad ones. I think Fish Jelly has good balance in that regard. They don't hate a lot of movies but they don't really like a lot of movies either. If a critic is liking every movie they see then you don't know which movies are the really good ones. When Fish Jelly gives a 4 or a 5 to a movie you can bet it's going to be really good because they don't give those ratings often.
@@StevenE-l9y I am generally not a fan of non spoiler reviews. I'm interested in first impressions but prefer to watch in depth reviews after I've already seen the movie or instead of watching the movie. These guys are among the first to post spoiler reviews where they intelligently analyze plot, story, and characters while offering tons of humor and nuggets of cinematic history as a bonus. It's definitely become one of my favorite review channels.
Go Birdcage!
They keep trying to make Elizabeth banks a thing……
Would love to know if you’ve watched Velvet Buzzsaw and what you both thought of it?
Will you be reviewing alien romulus?
Yes, on Sunday.
Can you review Alien?? 👽🫶🏼
What is the true events this is inspired by?
She’s the villain
watch DiDi please! it would be interesting to hear your thoughts
