Reading these comments, I feel so lucky to live a 10 min walk from Wonder Pens! I bought my first fountain pen there and love popping in to choose ink colours. The owners and staff are truly wonderful and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing.

I can’t say enough good things about Jon and Liz and everyone at Wonder Pens. Fountain pens (and,well, all other things stationery) were my pandemic coping mechanism. There is no snobbishness and no one has any “airs”. The staff are friendly and open and the selection the store has curated is impressive. They are very quick to respond to queries and provide great advice. I’ve attended a few of the meet ups they’ve held this year and as Jon said, the people in the community are so nice. It’s been great to get to talk to people with the same interest and passion for all of these beautiful things! Thanks for this video and spotlight on such a special place!
Thanks for this video. Wonderepens is my goto online pen and stationary stop, but living in Montreal, I have not yet visited the shop. Can't say enough about all the very helpful staff.

@@StationeryAt4 I have indeed been to Stylo. It is a very modern shop, so lacks some of the charm perhaps but the staff are helpful and they stock many brands and product lines. Stay well.
Oh you made it to town! Isn’t it a wonderful shop? I hope you remembered to get your TN stamped. Did you visit Phidon Pens in Cambridge? You were close if you were in Guelph.
Shoot! You probably did tell me you live in Toronto. Had I remembered I would have shot you a message to say hi! Next time!! Alas, it was one free day on my work trip and the Ontario transit system can be slow sometimes... lol. I left Guelph at 8am on the GO train but got delayed for an hour and a bit due to a faulty signal light. By the time I rolled into Toronto it was 11am. I'll have to see if I can figure out another work trip to Guelph!
Now that I know more of the people behind the store, I am much more likely to order from them. Checks the boxes for the type of store I want to support: Canadian, by people who share the hobby too, and supports their community. Thanks for the tour, I know where my next purchase will come from!
I love Wonderpens! They opened after I left Toronto, but a shopping trip there is mandatory whenever I visit my sister in Toronto. I bought my first fountain pen there, a Pilot Metropolitan. And even though I live in Newfoundland now, they are my first choice for online shopping. I encourage everyone to sign up to their mailing list, because Liz writes the best blogs and updates. So cosy!

@StationeryAt4 Sadly, none that I know of. There is probably a good art supply store out on the West Coast, at the art school in Corner Brook, but here in St. John's we only have Michaels, Staples, and a local art store called Art Cansel. A great place to get sketchbooks and paint and brushes, but the pen options are limited to calligraphy sets and the Pilot Parallel and Plumix.
