I’ve got my pen clip on the cardboard craft folder at the back of my TN. My pen slots in ok and it sits within the edges of the TN cover. Bonus is, there’s no marks on the leather from it.

That's a long prep time! i am up at 4 too and try to include some of those things in my morning ritual. I go for a long walk which helps me focus and reflect and prepare for the day. Because I punch in at 7, I have to do more in the evening before bed which also serves to destress from my day. Thanks for sharing and being so transparent. Look forward to more videos.

That pen loop closure is beautiful. Gosh why don't more manufacturers do the same? Those elastic bands, magnets and buttons are excessive, useless and gaudy at times. Wish they made quality ones like these in India, it's been a unending fight to find a decent one here!

Look uo the Mahjon A1; they sell resuasble cartridges for an affordable price, they fit any pilot pen and are made with more durable plastic they also have a converter that is better than the Con-40.

I always appreciate reviews of pens several years after buying them. It's one thing to see one nice and shiny out of the box, but it's also equally nice to hear whether or not it actually made it into your rotation and whether or not it's a pen you actually use.

I heard that black nibs often have a plating that can make the writing experience less smooth so sounds like a good call going gold! Love my broad Vanishing Point, mine is 18K, didn’t know the nibs came in 21K, now I’m tempted haha

I love my Vanishing Points! The VP is my workhorse and then the Pilot Custom 823 is for writing at home. When you showed you were going to change the nib to gold I had this cringe moment...lol. Though, the Gold nib actually looks pretty good on that black matte. Enjoy!

I have mine +13-15 years and still rocking. Only two issues - 1 fast drying container, 2very small container.

The quote at the bottom of the page is a big reason why I am looking at other brands for A6 planners. I use a A5 Hobonichi HON and then there is an entire A5 page so the quote feels less intrusive. For an A6 the quote is much too much and I haven’t event tried it out.

What is the notebook cover you use away from the desk?

Personally I am interested on the A nib. Never find one in local store but also not really intrigued enough to get one via internet shopping tho. Did try to switch inks on entry level platinum, for some reason the water never leaves the reservoir / fins for days. Afterwards I just devote that pen to one ink only. By the way as far as I know, preppy 03/05 are actually wider than usual Japanese nib of the same size, while 02 is a proper JP EF nib. I didnt dig into the reasoning behind, but you may just want to stay away from 02 if 03 is feedback-ish to you.

I find Lochby over hyped product pushed only by TH-camrs. Maxpedition was here generations and that serves me plenty as its much more refined product. I just do not understand the hype of this Notepad case with ugly yellow fabric inside …something I would not enjoy to hold or carry …unlike TN. Just big no no from me.

If the Venture Pouch was big enough to carry a full size Traveler's notebook...that would be perfect! I bought the pocket journal and use it as a wallet. I keep it in my purse, but if I need to travel light I just grab it and go because it contains all my essentials.

I’ve been using the traveler notebook for art journal and an MD graph for work planner (I like a simple monthly layout followed by a bullet symbol guide for days in at work) but have been eyeing the techno. I love the paper but get intimidated by possible blank daily pages. I do not use weekly layouts due to working 6 days a week with different days off
