i've found some of marilyn's most famous quotes and mixed them with some video clips and pictures of her. all along with the music from concert no. 5by beethoven. hope you'll enjoy it. took me foreeeeever:-)
You missed the very best.. "I'm selfish, impatient & a little insecure. I make mistakes, I'm out of control and sometimes I'm hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best" I love that quote. I'm getting a tattoo of it soon :)
Catalina Linding lol, jokes going to be on you! Marilyn NEVER said that! I can't help rolling my eyes every time I see this ridiculous "quote" of her. I don't know which one is worse. That one or the other "quote" about "madness is genius..." and with the latter, the fact that Marilyn's mother, Gladys, had a history of mental illness, was something Marilyn knew all too well of. Starting at a very young age, her mother could not take care of her properly due to Gladys being in and out of mental hospitals, which subsequently Marilyn was in and out of foster homes. Well I've said more than intended. Back to you and your tattoo! Well um, I would of said to you do your research on Marilyn's REAL quotes a little better before you go permanently ink some bs "quote" on your body! But probably don't matter now since this was from 4 years ago! You may not even see this, but what I'm really trying to do is to educate anyone else who watches this video and reads the comments (cause you're definitely not the first to misquote MM, and sadly not the last either) who think Marilyn has said this is wrong.
MARILYN MONROE DID TAKE CARE OF HERSELF VERY WELL BUT WHEN SHE GOT MIXED UP WITH THE KENNEDYS THATS WHEN SHE LOST HER LIFE ROBERT KENNEDY HAD HER KILLED
Wow. Sounds like you got it all figured out. I don't suppose it matters that she was well into her addictions long before she met Jack or Robert Kennedy.
I subscribe the quote: "the nicest thing for me is sleep, then at least I can dream" She was an underrated human being, she is smart and a very very special and unique person. I would love to have known her...
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, i am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best
Funny because numerous people over the years told me I reminded them of her and at first I was not sure what to make if that until I researched her past what media and studio execs presented. The funny part is the statement you make above my Dad said to me about me when I was a teenager.
Quote at 1:26 is incorrect. She said, "I've been on a calendar but I have never been on Time". For the first time, Time Magazine had put her on the cover, (which was a big deal), and that is what she is referring to. Not to being her usual late self, as everyone assumes. (Cover was May 14, 1956.)
I wonder what it was like to be her. People would say it would be a dream come true to see marilyn when you look in the mirror.. But what was her feeling towards the world.. who was this mysterious lost angel..?
She had terrible fear and insecurity. In spite of her brazenness, these traits were ALWAYS with her. She drank and took pills to self-medicate her terrible feelings. She really had no self-esteem.
Missitabomb, you are somewhat misinformed. The studio she was contracted with, 20th Century Fox, ran terrible smear campaigns against her when she was alive in an effort to suppress her from challenging their all pervasive authority. She was a real rebel and was not OK with how they were abusing her. Among the things they did was embellish a lot of the internal struggle she dealt with. I'm not saying she wasn't challenged by issues, she was, but not to the extent that Fox made her out to be in the press. Sadly, this story - Fox's version of her behavior/mental health - is what has stuck historically. Also, much of the medication she was initially taking were legitimately prescribed by doctors. It is these doctors who hold some responsibility for overmedicating her in the first place. Eventually, she did become very addicted to the prescribed medication - as would anyone who was being given instruction to take so much.
Nothing lasts forever, so live it up, drink it down, laugh it off, avoid drama, take chances and never have regrets, because at one point everything you did was exactly what you wanted. Best Marilyn quote ever, and so, so true.
Marilyn had a lot of wisdom, a lot. She had beauty, talent, and wisdom. It is the truth. In many ways she was little girl at heart, and an old woman in wisdom.
Silent film actress Eva LeGalliene who started the New York Civic Repertory Theater wrote on a photograph for an admirer: "The theater should be an instrument of giving not machinery for getting". I think Marilyn would have agreed with that.
Norma as such a beautiful and also sad woman. All what she wanted in Life was Love. She hated to be only a Sex Symbol. Wonderful people mostly die to early. RIP Norma Jeane :( "Dogs never bit me ... just humans"
"if you can't handle me at my worst, you don't deserve me at my best"
(Marilyn Monroe)
"I knew I belonged to the public and the world, because I had never belong to anything or anyone else." WOW, that was deep.
She was beautiful, intelligent, charming and charismatic
👍
God she was beautiful! Such charisma. Unique.
Does anyone else notice a lot of sadness in some of her quotes? :(
Anna Blondie I do 😥
Yes. I noticed alot of sadness in her quotes.☹️
Sadness - or simply reality?
@@danc3693 I think a bit of both, Dan.
Thank you for the dreamy montage of beautifull Marilyn, the music framed it all so well, rip sweet girl.❤❤❤

Marilyn never said that honey
Her quotes are so honest. So real!
MARILYN MONROE JUST WANTED TO BE LOVED AND HAVE A BABY RIP SWEET ANGEL
Wouldn't that baby have been in a mess? Who would have taken care of it?
SANTA CLAUS
It's fairly obvious that she couldn't even take care of herself.
The pictures and quotes are so beautiful, you did a wonderful job setting this up, thank you.
Rest In Peace, Marilyn Monroe.
why should M.M. rest in peace? She should be having a good time where no one uses her.
Wonderful!!! Very sensitive images and pics!!! You did great!!! Loved your video!!! MM deserves it! Thank u soooo much for making it!
She had the most interesting , honest and delightful sayings.
I subscribe the quote:

I would love to have known her...
but you were just a kid
@@FreeSpirit47 actually not even born yet
@@Luisa3413 Same. I was referencing the song, lol.Marilyn Monroe would be the same age as Queen Elizabeth II if she were still alive today.

thank you for this beautiful video of marilyn!i love her,she was so beautiful inside&outside.
If YOU CAN MAKE A GIRL LAUGH YOU CAN MAKE HERDO ANYTHING .. my favorite quote
I'd no idea she was such a lonely, misunderstood person. This is what ravenous beauty can do to a woman. How sad.
Poor Marilyn no one deserved her life... Being owned but the mídia isn't life. She just wanted to be happy... RIP MM😥💖
Thank you for putting this video together. Amazing work! You really capture her inner beauty and strength! Thank you!:)
I LOVE THIS! It's Marilyn Monroe quotes with Beethoven music, this is my favorite piece from him, two geniuses.
Really lovely. You've done it with great class, and she deserves to be remembered and honored this way. Thank you.
Whenever I feel sad and like a failure, I come here or google her quotes, they truly inspire you to not give up...
Dear Marilyn, if I was living in America, I would bring you flowers where you are buried. Thank you for your life!
I can definately relate to "Dogs never bite me. Just humans."
I'm going to 'share' this on my FB page! Thanks for making it :-)
This was beautiful.. the music, film and photos worked so well together with the lyrics. I loved it, thankyou
x
thank you so much for watching it! means alot to me.
Bitter-sweet is the best thing I can think of to describe this. She was so insightful and trapped by her own success.
She forgot another Amazing One!!
I'm Pretty Not Beautiful
I sin but I'm not the Devil
I'm Good but not An Angel -Marilyn Monroe ♥♥♥♥♥
If anyone hates Marilyn Monroe is definately insecure of themselves. There won't ever be another actress as beautiful and loving as she was.
The way you have written this sounds like insecurities are bad but ok for Marilyn lots of people have them doesn't mean you hate someone .
beautiful photos, beautiful music (Beethoven) and beautiful sweet and sad MARILYN... heartwarming
In her quotes are expressions of loneliness and disillusionment with Hollywood and people around her
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, i am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best
I love you marylin💓No man deserved you because you were real ,strong, and you could see through the b.s.. Even on a bad day . ur the best. 💓

I can see why my cousin loves her. She's such a sad soul that needed to be taken seriously. R.I.P Marilyn Monroe
Every time I see her, I get sad. She's the poster girl for the illusion of fame.

Great and very artistic! Music a good choice especially from 1.42 :-)
she is so beautiful.
Beethoven's Piano Concerto 5, second movement. As beautiful as the woman.
