The twist is Adrien confronting his Father as cat noir after hawk moth got the ladybug miraculous.
His father is trying to explain his plan to Adrien and telling him the whole backstory to sway him to his side to give up the car Miraculous to bring back Emilie.
Adrien is getting more and more torn, but ultimately realizes something.
The floor beneath is feet is starting to form a crater due to an explosion like cataclysm as Adrien yells "SHE'S GOOOOONE"

Guys I remembered that line in bubbler when Adrien said that adrien said that his father gave him the same pen for his birthday for three years before Emily died does that make sense that he was a jerk for his son always probably Emily was trying to protect him from the world because perhaps he is a sentimonster and she was afraid on him and Gabriel probably hated him for not being a REAL son only a magical creation by his wife that caused her death

You know this also connects to the idea that bringing her back, with the wish, someone else has to die/enter into a comma like state. Also if she married someone like Gabriel, a questionable choice, then who’s to say she wouldn’t turn around and be like “you know it’s great to be back even if someone else has to suffer. Haha.” Like they could go so many different ways with this.
But it may turn around that she might be the next hawkmoth to bring Gabriel back, She might get help from Nathalie as well!! Since In the episode timetagger!! Timetagger made it pretty clear that in the future he was not hawkmoth!! So it could be that Emily trying to bring him back or Nathalie or just both working together!! It be going in a circle!! So like we gotta wait!! Just let keep ourselves alive best as possible to see what happens next!

Okay so I like this theory, but the price to pay in exchange for ones life makes sense. So, it could either be that she teams up with her husband again and since Natalie used her miraculous, she would be the one going into a coma and Gabriel gets angry and Emilie doesn’t let him bring her back. He betrays his wife and finally is getting close to getting the ladybug band cat miraculous when suddenly Emile tells him the truth, “You can’t do that because it would be ones death in exchange.” Gabriel is confused because he knows that but he doesn’t know who would take Baylor’s place. Emilie says that Adrien will take her place because it was a big theory that Adrien Agreste could be a sentimonster and the reason for his death would be for him to vanish. But I don’t believe that theory because he was alive when nobody was wearing the peacock miraculous before Mayura.

@@argo8276 in the episode timetagger, the akumatised victim gets sent from the future to collect ladybug and cat noir's miraculous, but he mentions that it isn't for this hawkmoth, which is bringing up all these new theories of the new hawkmoth and what will happen to gabriel.

Gabriel wants the two mircaulouses and I honestly think that he will get it in season 4 (end) It would make sense if he got it at season 4 bc during season 2 and 3 he achieved so much and is getting powerful. (Chloe and Lila are now allies, he was so close getting the miraculouses in multiple episodes, the guardian is gone, and he can have new powers since he has the book.) He will use the miraculous and ofc there needs to be balance. Many ppl think Adrien will take the place of Emilie bc if he did Gabriel will still be sad and that will keep the universe balance. I dont think Adrien will take the place of Emilie. I think Gabriel will take the place of Emilie. This would make sense because when Grabiel is gone, Emilie will still be sad. Which keeps the balance. Why would they take out Gabriel? Its bc without Gabriel changing or gone Marinette and Adrien cant have a relationship. They cant be together if Gabriel is there. (Chat Blanc) they have to take Gabriel out of the picture. Emilie will bring backed. Will she be good or evil? I say that she would be evil. Emilie is portrayed as perfect in the series. Gabriel and Adrien describes as so kind and flawless. Emilie is an actress (Solitude in the episode Gorilla) Her kindness and flawlessness is an act. She is most likely really crazy behind that perfection. She might actually be evil and maybe kinda like Gabriel. When Emilie was still alive, Adrien was still locked up bc it is too dangerous. What was dangerous? What were Emilie and Gabriel scared of? Hawkmoth wasnt there so there wasnt any akumatizations. I think that Gabriel with the butterfly miraculous and Emilie with the peacock miraculous were superheros. I think they fought something that was so powerful and dangerous the peacock miraculous was damaged. I think whatever that villian/thing is might become the final boss or something in the end of the series. This would be bring balance with the switch. Who will be the new villain? LB and CN has to fight someone for the story to continues. Im not sure if Emilie would be the villain there is possibility but I think it will be Lila. Lila will become the villain. I think that she will become the new villain bc she hates LB and Mari. In episode time breaker there would be a new Hawkmoth. Oh that could be anyone! Actually at the end of the episode it shows Lila charming Chris (who was akumatized) Why would they include Lila? She is obviously not involved with that episode. I think it’s foreshadowing. And now that Gabriel is gone Adrien and Marinette can be together. So the switch will happen at the end of season 4. What will happen in season 5? My theory is that the REVEAL IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!!! Why season 5? It make sense for the story. Now that Gabriel is gone the story of their love can actually grow and progress. Im not sure how they will find out. But I strongly think it will happen at the end of season 5. It is a perfect time to do they reveal (It isnt too early where is destroys character devolpment and not too late where we cant see the relationship grow) A big reason why the reveal will be in season 5 is because the animated movie will be about the orgins and ending of season 5. The movie will most likely include the reveal. The reveal can be part of the ending of season 5 aspect. The reveal will be the strongest plot point so they would want that for the movie. After season 5 there will be 2 or 3 more seasons which is perfect. Those seasons can show progress and development of the relationship. Now the ending of the show. I think LB and CN will most likely fight the villain or baddie that Gabriel and Emilie tried to fight but it caused the peacock miraculous to break. This final battle is going to be soooooo hard. During this battle I think Marinette identity will be revealed to the rest of France. Adrien might know during that time but the rest of France won’t. They will defeat the villain but Mari cannot be LB anymore bc everyone knows now and future villains could find her. This will cause Mari to forget all her memories. She will pass the miracle box to someone but I’m not sure. This will be the saddest part of the story. I think Mari will see CN or Adrien and have that love in first sight thing (just like the guardian) And maybe say the exact words he said. I’m not sure how this story line is going to go but I think Adrien will give her the umbrella again! It will be raining at will be that scene. It would make sense if they add another umbrella scene. Mari fall in love with Adrien like that so it will happen again since she doesn’t remember anything. This will probably be the most beautiful and heartfelt scene of the whole series. It began with the umbrella and will end with the umbrella.

I think miraculouses take different forms depending on the wearer. Plagg has probably never seen the peacock miraculous look like that before which is why he didn't bat an eye.

So if everyone in Adrien’s family : Gabriel, Emile, his aunt and Felix are sinister people, how is Adrien so caring, nice and giving.
He had to learn this behavior from somewhere. Cause it can’t be other people since he was isolated.
So if Emilie, was cold as well, like putting a false facade as this sweet mother, how is Adrien so giving.
My guess, if Emilie is bad as you say, maybe Adrien is so kind because of Natalie. Cause she’s almost like a 2nd mother figure.
Despite doing Hawkmoth’s beckoning, I think she’s more kind than Gabriel.

Well, we come from an age of social media where we learn a lot from the internet. He is also very elite. elite people display a good face/purpose, and he probably belived that. And from a lack of socializing, belived that the façade that they displayed, was real.

I get WHY Gabriel is doing this, but if Flashpoint has taught me ANYTHING it’s that preventing a death NEVER ends well...
I would really like to know:
- how they even knew about the miraculous in the first place, they even went to Tibet to actively look for them
- what they wanted the miraculous for
- what Emily was using the Peacock for, since it must have been much to cause her to go into a coma
- why Gabriel was not using the Butterfly until a year after Emilie going into a coma (Wayz only felt Hawkmoth around the time Adrien tried to go to school)
- how the Peacock got damaged
I could totally imagine them using the miraculous to serve their won purposes, i.e. Emilie creating clones of herself to take care of Adrien, while she works, to create the Gorilla to be his bodyguard, maybe even create Felix to look exactly like Adrien so that she had a child as well (maybe Felix' "Dad" found out and that is wh he died around the same time as Emilie?)
Or Hawkmoth purposefully using the miraculous for evil because he wanted to lure out the master, hoping to get the ladybug and cat miraculous. Gabriel is very calculating.
The Peacock Miraculous was damaged bcause Master Fu tried to destroy it.... when he made a huge mistake...

I watched, but I am not sure if I understand it the same way. Master Fu tells that he panicked when the sentimonster started eating the monks so he lost the staff that could control the sentimonster and he "forgot he could destroy it (the sentimonster) using the peacock miraculous" so how I understand it, the peacock was intact, when he lost it?

Here is my theory:
- Emily died because she tried the peacock miraculous. (which is damaged)
- Nathalie will also die because she used the miraculous. I heard from an episode that Nathalie is sick, which is the sickness that made Emily die.
Proof that Emily died because of the Peacock miraculous:
- Her picture frame has a peacock design.
- Mr. Agreste and Emily took a vacation. (Where they found the Miraculous Book with the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculous)
- Emily died because of the sickness which Nathalie also has.

You know we never have stories where the husbands are victims of abusive relationship, it always the wives. I would like that dynamic for Gabriel and Emily.

It would make sense too. Despite the bad writing in some episodes, Gabe loves his son. I never questioned that.
So maybe the reason they are not close is becuse Emily always got in between.
She could have been the jealous sort who punished Adrien for having so much of Gabes love and adoration.
She could have forced them appart, made herself in change of Adriens studies, hobbies, friendships, you name it. She never let him outside to grow as a person both to keep him small and submissive, but also to punish him and have full control over her sons life.
All so that Gabe never would love Adrien more than her, which obviously caused a distance between the two.
You have to also rwmember that it was only when Gabe was a single dad that Adrien finally were allowed outside, to have friends, to do fun things. And that even if Gabe obviously is terrafied something will happen to his son.
So maybe Gabe just has not realized yet that he was in a abusive relationship, and he thinks getting Emily back would fix everything
It is sadly a really common type of abuse towards both kids and parrners.
This is an interesting point, and it makes lots of sense storywise. Previous reply sums it up well.
Exactly, there are implications that Emilie isn’t as good as she seemed. She continued to use the peacock miraculous knowing it could kill her, and Gabriel probably begged her to stop the same way he did with Nathalie, but she refused to listen. Also Gabriel is the one who relented to let Adrien go to school, even when Emilie was around and Gabriel said she was headstrong in her own right, never let Adrien go out either.
Based on colour schemes we can also suggest that Adrienette represents a young version of Gabenath, and maybe Emilie was the ‘chloe like figure’ that got in the way of their potential relationship. And this theory has more ground considering that Astruc has plans to make a comic about Gabriel’s youth in which he confirms that Gabriel, Nathalie and Emilie all knew each other as teens. Yet Nathalie doesn’t seem to care about Emilie and only wants to bring her back for Gabriel’s sake. 🤔🤔🤔

Emilie as an actress pretended to be in love with gaberial and actually also pretended to be nathalies best freind. Just to steal gaberial from nathalie. Theory: Adrian is a sentimonstor and Emily used the peacock miraculus too much too make adrian grow and learn.
and Hawk Moth never needed to use his miraculous before emily died because in stoneheart it is the first time using his miraculous because he says he will name himself hawk moth and nooroo is surprised by what gabriael is doing which means he hasn't done it before.
So Emily used the peacock miraculous to create adrian and then she died so gabriael used the butterfly miraculous for the first time to get the miraculous to bring her back.
But when he gets her back he will be put in her place in the coma and emily and nathalie will try to get him back and it will be an endless cycle
This also means the new hawk moth could be emily as said in time tagger and that nathalie will use the peacock, or vice versa
Shouldn't Natalie be able to sense Adrien is a sentimonster if he is one? She felt Feast's hunger even when he was dormant and disguised as a statue so if Adrien was a sentimonster she should know.

Gabriel suffers from agoraphobia, which is a common phobia in abuse victims
He's obsessed with his wife and believes he can not function without her, even though there has been evidence throughout the show that Natalie has always been there for him and knows of a gentler, kinder version of the man we have barely seen, implying he has changed for the worst
He is controlling of his son and overly protective, meaning he may have had to keep Adrian away from his mother or that Emilie made Gabriel look like the bad parent by making him enforce a strict and unforgiving childhood
I also have a theory that Adrian is infact Felix's twin brother and that Emilie's sister is in fact their biological mother, showing the control she had over her family, that she could force her sister into giving her one of her twin sons, also explaining the incredibly awkward interaction between Emilie's sister and Gabriel
I've got a theory, mabye the venille twin rings are a miraculous that can only be worn by people almost perfectly insinc with each other or with some sort of deep connection. Adriens aunt did say there was a story about it, or mabye a legend? 🤔

I think it would be such an interesting plot to go with. However I think the creator of miraculous is quite a lazy and simple minded guy. I honestly don’t know if he would go down such a route with such a well done plot twist. Like if you think about how much effort he put into the development of the shoe and characters... not very much.

This arguments are really good and would guarantee an amazing further plot if she awakens. Alix from the future said that there will be no hawk moth but other, worse evil... (considering that Gabriel isn't actually THAT evil. He has his motives)
I believe she was kind and generous before the accident. But there is always a price to pay to bring someone back from the deads. Making it only three prices choices : Someone (probably Natalie or Gabriel himself) would die. She will come back but not remember a thing, seing her son lying in a critical condition and her husband covered in blood, she'd accuse him and would want to leave again. Last but not least, she'd come back but not as Emilie, as the twisted, evil-minded broken miraculous wearer that she tried to fight before she went into a coma. She'd want the miraculous back and would fight anyone to have it back so Gabriel and her could continue being the most powerful beings in Paris. It'll cause a fight, someone will die (props Gabriel or Emilie if not Marinette) it'll enrage Adrien whom will do anything to get back his past miraculous in hope to make another wish and save the fallen one. Thus why time tagger said "I said I work for hawkmoth I never said it was you" to Gabriel. As for the adult cat noir it could be either Felix who tries to help his cousin out of his madness or Luka. That last one, just like most plot bullshit we seen would make more episodes and seasons which I doubt they can do now. Oh well.... My bets on Emily coming back evil.

Well Adrien kinda has a dark side it was shown in some episodes when LB is in danger or in trouble/hurt something like that I mean not like a dark side more of a grey side lol he is nice and kinda bad at some episodes
The people who disliked were hawk-moth from different acounts
The newest episode implies that Adrien didn't have any dreams growing up and wanted please his parents. Like Emilie is just as abusive as Gabriel.
This is really funny to me because me and my other miraculous fan friends were just theorising that we think Emilie Agreste is evil and that she's meant to be the main villain of the future.
Totally agree with everything you said here. I think Emilie being a good character is an illusion, at first we like her and feel her absence because adrien thinks of her so fondly and Gabriel is obsessed with her to the point of terrorising teenage kids for magical jewels just to bring her out of her coma so we automatically assume that if Adrien misses his mother that she must be a saint compared to gabriel the demon deadbeat father.
In addition to that she should have agreed to every decision Gabriel made about adrien! Adrien's mom went missing a year ago, even before that he did modelling at a young age, fencing, piano and chinese. None of that is new, the homeschooling isn't new either so that tells us not only did she see nothing wrong with isolating adrien from kids his age other than chloe but she also didn't let him have a normal childhood just like gabriel. Besides i think emilie had the most power in their relationship as he's more than a little obsessed with her so its not too far fetched to believe he would gladly do anything she tells him to.
Did everyone forget how in the chat blanc episode, Gabriel still kept on attacking ladybug and cat noir, EVEN WHEN HE FOUND OUT CAT NOIR WAS HIS SON? He's not a good man, he's always restricted his son from doing things that he loves and he even isolated Adrien until Nathalie finally convinced his father that Adrien should be able to live a normal life
To be fair Astruc has done a really bad job at keeping his character consistent. In gorizilla he was willing to let go of the miraculous for Adrien’s protection and at multiple times he feared for his safety so when they did a 180 on in Cat Blanc I was really mad. Gabriel isn’t the best father but I’ve always liked to believe that he loves his son and after losing Emilie doesn’t want to lose the only family left.
That being said this man needs better coping mechanisms and some therapy.
It’s a shame that they’ve made Gabriel’s character so one-dimensional when he had the potential to be a complex and nuanced character.
I always assumed that in Chat Blanc the events we saw was like a condensed version of like few months at least, we just saw highlights, so maybe over that time something caused him to lose it bit more than what we know as "main timeline" Hawkmoth and thus made him more willing to field goal his own son, like we saw the basement scene soon after the reveal but for all we know it could of been few weeks between those two points and the knowledge of his son being Chat Noir could of made him snap a bit

I haven’t seen much of the peacock miraculous but by the looks of it, it’s possessed or something. I get it’s broken but those black void eyes...maybe Emile corrupted it? Or it was corrupted when it broke? I don’t know but your theory has weight.

I think another reason everyone also remembers her so fondly because she's dead. I mean, you wouldn't look at a dead loved one and pick out their flaws. If you lost your sister, your mother, your wife, or your aunt, you'd remember them as a good person most likely.
Also we normally here from Emilie from Adrien and Gabriel who both loved Emilie a lot and so both probably have very skewed perceptions of her.

And either way, Adrien probably assumes she's dead, and obviously she isn't in a hospital, so there's probably no hope of her waking up besides the magic of the miraculous wish, so she's also pretty much dead to Gabriel even if her body is technically alive.

I think that Gabriel is still the reason that he was stuck in his home. Adrien’s mother tried to talk with Gabriel but he didn’t agree. he probably said yes to Natalie so he can be alone and plan his evil plans. And maybe Adrien’s mom used the peacock miraculous to find the guardian and bring back the butterfly and peacock miraculous back to the guardian aka master fu. It was already damaged when they found it so the more that Adrien’s mom used the more her health worsens. I hope that made sense lol
In Simon says, Gabriel said that Emilie was quite headstrong and would always get her way. So Adrien was stuck at home which both of his parents seems to want. And Gabriel want always ‘evil’ he became the way he was because of his wife’s coma.

1. Who would take her place and "pay the price"? Adrien or Nathalie?
2. We saw future LB and CN in an episode(s) so *IF* Hawkmoth *did* get the miraculouses at one point, did he regret bringing Emilie back (because of the "price" and/or other reasons?) and put her back in coma, as well as return the miraculouses, [this would probably mean an identity reveal, so Bunnix would probably interfere] only for the "Hawkmoth of the future" to steal the moth miraculous and torment Paris further?
Honestly I always thought that Emilie wasn't this good. If she really wanted her child to have a happy life she could have easily convinced Gabriel to give Adrien more freedom, because he really loved her. So, I have a theory: Emilie wanted the Ladybug and the Black Cat Miraculouses to make a wish, and she used the Peacock Miraculous to search for them without Gabriel knowing, maybe she didn't know that the Miraculous was damaged and she ended up comatose, then Gabriel understood how it happened. Another possibility is that she knew that the Miraculous was damaged and she also knew that it would cause her to end up comatose, but she decided to keep trying knowing that, if she failed and "died", Gabriel would have tried to find the Miraculouses to heal her, this way she could have got them easily.

A lot of people are saying that if Gabriel brings back his wife In return it will cost Adrians life. I personally have to disagree. Here is the reason why. Adrian is the second main character in the show (obviously the first is mari). With that being said obviously he can’t die. Yes it would be really thrilling to watch, but at the end of the day it will be useless to do that twist as they will only bring him back in the next episode or the end of the episode!

Another theory is that Adrien is actually a centi monster created by Emilie because at some point in his childhood he died. To support this theory I have some points. First, Adrien is always referred to by everyone as "perfect", but characters are supposed to have their flaws to contribute to the story. Also in the episode "ladybug" Cat noir refers to the centi monster version of ladybug as perfect.
But we do see he isn’t perfect, when he’s chat noir! That’s the thing, Chat Noir is Adrien without the spotlight on him. Same with Marionette being herself when she isn’t seen as ladybug.

I'd have to disagree! Sentimonsters are created to (At least in ladybug's case) be perfect to someone else's eye. Perfection in the show is represented by Adrien, yes, but he's sometimes broke his Adrien persona and acted like chat (Which is, literally, bad luck personified). I feel like it'd be weird that a sentimonster had legitimate feelings, sadness, goals, etc, which Adrien has. Plus, I feel like this is also false because whenever Mayura detransforms, the sentimonster disappears, or in some other cases, the feather is simply torn apart. So how could adrien possibly still be alive as a sentimonster if his alleged creator wasn't using the miraculous anymore? There's many other reasons why I think this theory isn't true, but hey, it'd be pretty shocking if it were! :0

So, if we're going with the logic that Mayura could leave sentimonsters going around and detransform, the chances of Adrien being a sentimonster rise. Yet, I still have my doubts with that stuff! For the Peacock Miraculous was broken, we should've been able to see Adrien literally "Glitching" or getting extremely sick or dependent to something, which we haven't, as far as I'm aware!

He's overprotective of Adrian bc he could disappear at any moment as a sentimonster. Also when cat noir was being akumatized, the same gooey purple background that Mayura uses to create sentimonsters was behind him when he was being mind controlled. Also hawkmoth could have snapped his fingers at anytime to prevent the end of the world from happening in chat blanc but didn't and Natalie was no where nearby when she usually is to control sentimonsters. He would not only confess to being hawkmoth but would confess that Adrian isn't real

I kinda agree with the theories here about Gabriel dying cos he brought back Emilie. Remember that ep where there's this villain with the spray paint who came from the future and Bunnyx was there. The spray paint guy mentioned Gabriel isnt the Hawkmoth anymore. With only one wish that can be granted, I think Gabriel's death is the consequence to that wish.

I still find it *CRAZY* how Plagg never noticed the Peacock miraculous (like you’ve been existing, since the beginning of *TIME* and you know what the jewel looks like, but you can’t recognize it and you’re less than 5 inches away (I don’t even think he could recognize the Grimoire, he just got it for Adrien if I remember)). It seems pretty obvious that Emilie and Gabriel used the miraculouses at one point, before the arrival of Ladybug/Marinette and Chat Noir/Adrien, because that would only explain Emilie’s coma. Though I think Emilie may have been more powerful as Gabriel has stated he couldn’t do his job without Natalie (which I think she was hired around Emilie’s “disappearance” and she held the Peacock miraculous at one point)

The things in this video made me come up with this: Gabriel will revive Emile but the price will be his own life . He goes into a cationic state. Emile with a new lease on life uses the repaired peacock miraculous for her own gains . She could give the butterfly to Natalie or Lila. Here’s one of two mini theories in this theory 1) she cares about Gabriel and is trying to bring him back but not using the way he did as it backfired 2) she doesn’t care about Gabriel because she’s that evil and finds a new rich husband one that adrien doesn’t like at all

Nathalie doesn't have the strength to. The battle for the Miraculous brought her to her absolute limit. She would likely not even be able to handle being Mayura again, let alone handle the strain of two at a time.

First time seeing this theory, even though it is disproved I really liked it and think that would make a really good story.
I need to point out Something Else. There has been theories going around that Marinette’s parents were the original ladybug and cat noir now this got me thinking... they were superheroes from the past Who was the villain that they were fighting? This obviously let me to Emily because it said the master Fu made a mistake. Master Fu could’ve easily just lost a peacock miraculous and then when Emily found it she could’ve easily went up to him and ask him if she can keep miraculous and him Agree, then she starts using it for her own Personal gain, later him finding out she is a Villian. Now what I mean by this is that I’m comparing it to like Marinette and Chloe. Chloe is not a bad person *Just Hurt* but she made a mistake with the Miraculous and it wasn’t the wisest choice for Marinette to choose Chloe to be Queen Bee. If this were the case for Marinette‘s parents when they needed to fight Emily they could’ve easily just reasoned with her and Her Reacting the Same Way Chloe did when She got Her Miraculous Taken Away. Emile wanted to be an actress is probably why she had no issue with Adrian being a star in the commercials. She was only in the one film because she got sick.
It's both part of her dream and it's the goal that they had for the company.

Theory! So I have seen many people say that Adrien is going to take Emily’s place, but what if it’s taken by Gabriel himself? Adrien and Gabriel always talk about Emily as a flawless woman, perfection herself, but what if it’s not true? It would have been understandable that Gabriel had locked Adrien after his mother’s death as to protect him and to try and heal in a way. But Adrien has been trapped all of his life, including when his mom was alive. The Emily that we have heard of wouldn’t do such thing, but an Emily that is so heart-cold and mean as Gabriel would. There’s really high chances that Emily died because of the broken peacock miraculous, but what was she using it for? If we see the origins episodes, we know that Paris didn’t had supervillains ( and superheroes)in decades, meaning that Gabriel
And Emily were somewhere else. What if for a time they where superheroes in another place using those miraculous, but there was something or someone they couldn’t defeat or they committed a great mistake. This would made them move to Paris and start a new life erasing their past. But being superheroes doesn’t necessarily makes them nice. Getting back to the time where Adrien was alive, how is he as nice and caring as he is if everyone in his family was evil? As we can see in the gorilla episode, Emily was and actress. Even if she was the worst person in the world, she would act and fake happiness for her kid.
Getting back to the wish and getting someone back thing, the universe would still be balanced even if Gabriel died because Emily was as mean as cruel as him. Nothing would change because Adrien would still be trapped. If this is true this would explain why there’s a new Hawk Moth in the future (we see that in timetagger) maybe Emilie takes his place or even Nathalie, as seeing how the love of her life just dies
ok so After Dussu's miraculous was fixed, he said that he felt better, like he was being released from a nightmare. That is probably the reason the he said all that "evil" stuff. But Emilie definitely corrupted Dussu into thinking all of these things. Unlike Nourrou, he could withstand the tourture.

What if there was some accident resulting from the use of the butterfly/peacock miraculous that resulted in Gabriel’s demise, and Gabriel is the sentimonster created from from Emily so Adrien wouldn’t lose his father? this is my theory
Emily feel into a deep sleep because she tried to use the miraculous for something huge and extremely dangerous. so maybe Gabriel wants her back for her to continue to pursue what ever she wanted with the miraculous. I'm pretty sure Gabriel is willing to sacrifice his own son to bring her back because Gabriel has not problem with akumatizing his own son. there was an episode where Adrien's bodyguard was akumatized into a huge gorilla. Gabriel told him to drop Adrien from the roof to see if Cat Noir was gonna show up. So i think if Gabriel found out that Adrien is Cat Noir, he is going to do something extreme.

What if Dusu, or Dosu (however you spell it) the peacock kwami is the final villain?
What if he trick or manipulated Emilie into using his broken miraculous too much for some underhanded scheme of his own?

What if emilie stole both the ladybug and cat miraculous and wished for a son( this theory is based around either Gabriel or emilie being infertile ). The wish could have caused adrien to be born and the price to be the peacock miraculous becoming damaged. If this was the case emilie could have been poisoned by the peacock miraculous and eventually putting her on the verge of death. The reason she wouldn’t have searched for help is because she didn’t want to alarm Adrien by undergoing treatments to help stabilize her. If hawk moth gets the miraculouses he would bring back emilie but possibly at the cost of her sanity( or her stability, is which would give her a limited amount of life force). If if this theory is correct it would explain what happened to emilie. Please don’t judge too harshly this is my first real theory. Please be kind.

This is a theory, we all know when we seen Felix and his mom the 1st time, they seem very aggressive and have a lot of hatred but we can't always judge someone right away. In old fashion, Adrien's mom and Felix's mom are twins, so we all know one gets treated better than the other one, Felix's mom wants the heirlooms as they all believe Adrien's mom is dead. As we know by that, Adrien's mom is the twin that gets treated better and ect, and we see that Felix's mom gets treated less as parents will always give the heirlooms to the twin whose better, and successful. Felix saw this and grew hatred as his mom was treated less, but no one would hate family right? Even twins unless one acts and believes their superior than the other twin. What if Adrien's mom isn't sweet and kind unlike Felix's mom? What if at the end Felix's mom gets also a miraculous to go up against her sister, Adrien's mom? Or what if the two sisters go against Gabrielle and Natalie? I know Felix's mom will be a role, because you know one twin can't be without their other half, I just hope I'm right.

That might work, but I don't like the idea of it, because if he's supposed to be dead then why should he brought back against fate? That's what I say for Emilie too.
