    Also, you have to check the shipping costs as that's where these companies make their money. Like they charge you $30 plus $90 in shipping while they pay next to nothing to ship via bulk container (which is why it usually takes 2-3 months for stuff to arrive).

    • @quillmaurer6563
      @quillmaurer6563 ปีที่แล้ว +91

      Perhaps, feels a bit big for that. I think it would be good for light-duty work, not the high-torque stuff you'd want a good impact for, but as a convenient tool to use instead of a manual socket.
      I have a similar (supposedly) plasma cutter (is blue rather than red, but looks similar and has "CUT 50" written on it) and it does work. Not all that powerful, but that's because if I turn the power up too high it pops the breaker, not it's fault. With a higher-current or 220 outlet it would probably be awesome. Really wish they'd given this stuff more a chance, I feel like they were prejudiced by the price. Maybe they should have tested the stuff before hearing the price, not after. They should change the order of this, instead of look at, guess price, hear price, test, decide to keep or trash, they should look at, test (thoroughly with real expectations), guess price, hear price, decide if is worth that price or not.

We were renovating our house at the time and I felt so grown up to be able to bring my own toolset out to do the little jobs I could help out with. When he knew I was responsible and wasn’t going to lose or break anything, he let me use the good stuff. I love using that Makita DTW251z, a quality tool that works like a charm. And then to have that 10$ thing do just that, yea i'd actually buy it. I have a corded impact wrench, which is quite useful but a bit of a hassle to drag the cord out for it, so if only doing light-duty stuff I'll typically stick with a socket set. My experience with these sorts of products is that they DO work, but they have almost no durability. Need it once? You're fine. Need it a hundred times? Maybe get your tools from somewhere else.
    EDIT: Also, sometimes the factories in China produce name brand tools, then produce the *exact same tool* for another brand. All they do is change the stencil and box. That's probably why that sander they used was comparable to the Bosch sander they showed - it IS the Bosch sander, just with a different name.

It comes from the same exact bottling plants, on the same exact bottling lines, using the exact same water. The line doesn't even stop to change labels. I bought one of the electric jacks from Harbor Freight after the Ford one bent changing a tire on crap ground. It actually worked for what I bought it for, only to change a tire on roadside issue. I think it was $50.

    Honestly I'm tempted to buy that orbital sander, on very very rare occasions I think, hmm I wish I had an orbital for this instead of my palm sander so this might fit the bill for me

    This has definitely become my favourite show from donut the chemistry is on point and it's genuinely unpredictable every episode, and to me that's what makes the best episodes... Keep up the awesome work.

    This testing things from different sources is by far one of my best donut media series ever . Love them trying and reviewing these stuffs for our knowledge and entertainment.

      Problem with the "reviews" is that they are just showing their bias and lack of imagination. Most of the stuff worked fine, but sure you wouldn't use it every day in a workshop...which is why it was so cheap.

    Built the whole steering setup for a racing mower with about a dozen 12mm Sidchrome ring end spanners I flogged from work many years ago.
    Could never throw a tool away, but then again, my shed is full to the brim with odds and ends.

    They left out all of the shipping costs. Shipping is often more than the item itself! Pisses me off how they misrepresent wish as cheap, when it absolutely is not.

    • @andrew_koala2974
      @andrew_koala2974 ปีที่แล้ว

      Buying US made products from outside of the US is simply uneconomical -
      with shipping costs far exceeding the cost of the product and often four or
      more times higher.
      The CCP subsidizes shipping out of CHINA and have contracts with a number
      of Airlines - FedEX- DHL and SINGAPORE AIRLINES ---
      Yet not one US president is smart enough or interested enough to promote US made
      products and provide subsidized shipping - instead it spends money on warfare and
      paying for mercenaries and home-grown terrorists to cause trouble in other countries.
      While US jobs are disappearing - minimum wage is much lower than in Australia -
      homelessness is increasing - tax payer funded heath-care is non-existent and the
      health system is pathetic- The US is going down the toilette fast and is managed
      by a bunch of incompetent clowns that have no idea what is happening in the country.
      To earn any money the uniformed dogs rob people by the roadside.
      The US is in desperate need of therapy.

    I have had a few impacts over the years a CP , Mac , Cornwell , Ingersoll Rand , millwakee, and a 3/8 drive Mac. I just bought the Milwaukee I'm impressed with it. It's my first cordless. I bought a Dewalt sander it's ok. I started restoring some of my antique furniture then I lost all interest in life 😕. I have happened to use other people's cheap tool sets helping them in a pinch lol. Not the greatest they can still get the job done. I have never owned a plasma cutter. I did purchase a cheap arc welder and I welded a half inch steel hydraulic bracket for one of my cat excavators it held up well lol.

    The jack would be good for someone older or disabled. Combined with an impact and some people would be able to change a tire when they normally couldn't.

    the thing is, we have a lot of burner tools like theses at work (crap tools u dont care to trash) stuff like undertrays ect the impact would be good as u wont de-thread them and the junk tool box would be great to have when u need to hammer stuff, i may actual buy that impact would be usefull when i dont want to break things
