I think the 36 degree is so you can divide a circle into 10 segments? or if you were to cut 36 of the ends of 5 boards you could put them together to make a pentagon.

At first i thought you were helping us newbies out. The more i watch your channel the more i noticed your auras are "buy this buy that, you need this you need that!!! "
I think a lot of the Chinese MFGs have figured out that a lot of people - especially here in the US - will buy on price and can provide decent stuff at a good price. The company that continues to impress me is Wen. Their stuff is good.
If you get something you do not like they instantly refund your money.. Some items if left in your cart Temu will offer a big discount. It seems completely random.. I got that digital angle finder for under 7 bucks when an offer popped up.. AND those silicone mats are almost completely heat proof...
Great video. Haven't purchased anything from this company yet but now will at least check it out. Also thought the Sponge Bob reference was quite funny!
just started watching this one and the yellow pointed triangles for painting, do they leave a dent in the other side? Had some similar round ones from amazon with a silicon base and black inserts with a tiny point for the purpose of lowest contact with paint or sealer. They put tiny divots everywhere they touched the surface.
@@Cat_R_Waulkinda bummed bc I figured the short sections of 1x4s would of weighed less to not do that. Disappointing so many creators say there great for painting and staining and giving a false hope it doesn't mar the surface.
@@keithf5236sand down the points or epoxy them, seems fairly simple. Or even put tape on them, like 3+ layers of tape. I do this with a lot of projects, mostly using pine cuz its easy to get free scrap pine wood so I've learned to build on a budget
I hate Temu! I used the link you provided for the paint-pyramids, went through the whole process of buying them at a great price of £1.49, until the very last stage when I was informed that I had to spend a minimum of £15 to process the order. The additional spend had to be on a small selection of products, non of which were of any interest. Apart from that, your videos are really good, although the sponsorships are getting in the way these days.
Great video as always Matt love the smell the same made me laugh out loud the first time you said it. Will have to check out a few of these items.thanks for sharing as always
TEMU: Essentially China's gray market storefront. No way to take down things that violate patents/stolen tech. Made with essentially slave labor. Funds China's further dominance. Just pointing out some facts, not judging.
Not defending temu but this is different than Wal mart, best buy, target, McDonald's etc... how? Like for real, everything is this way. I've never used temu but this is how the whole world operates, American flags are made in China. Go take issue with that before crying about temu
I do purchase from Temu, but I don't STORE any of my information on it. I will never download their APP. Generally, you get what you pay for. Keep in mind that the products Temu sells are made by many different companies. .
Yeah, some of these things are knock-offs, but if the big companies do not have a patent, shame on them. Cheap things can usually be designed just enough differently to get around patents anyway. I worked 30 years in corporate America and saw them get rich off employees' ideas who got a pat on the back and dinner for 2 at Outback. I do not feel sorry for them in the least.
Thanks Matt all these are good to know and a fair comment. Actually I purchased the Kreg Gauges that I purchase when you first illustrated them and their one of the most used tools in my shop. God bless and peace be with yo and your family!
Temu is not making money off of their tools but off of data collection. Sadly they pay off TH-camrs to promote them and get more and more app downloads.
He was making plenty of DIY woodworking videos and building things. Seems he is passed that and makes more by promoting products. Can't knock the grind right? I don't see the problem.
This man is feeding his family and having a good time. Don't be hating on him just cuz he slipped into carpenters jackpot job. You keep rollin 731 Plenty of us appreciate ya🤝🏻😊
At this point bro you could just change the name of your channel to 731 tool reviews lol. I actually don't mind the tool reviews. I learned about taytools from your videos. But bit of advice, temu might be a company you want to stay away from far as making videos. People believe everything they see and dont do their own research so theyre all like oh no temu blah blah blah. Like a comment saying the brush kit is a direct ripoff of the rockler, but dont realize rockler didn't invent any of this stuff

I think a lot of the Chinese MFGs have figured out that a lot of people - especially here in the US - will buy on price and can provide decent stuff at a good price. The company that continues to impress me is Wen. Their stuff is good.
I like your T shirts, brother. 😮
Ok, what is with the baby hippo? Love it!
Saved this one.
If you get something you do not like they instantly refund your money.. Some items if left in your cart Temu will offer a big discount. It seems completely random.. I got that digital angle finder for under 7 bucks when an offer popped up.. AND those silicone mats are almost completely heat proof...
Those notebooks look like air hockey tables! 😂
What brand of toolbox do you have in your shop? I'm looking for options for my garage.
Husky
Thanks for the tip
Thank you!
Dude! The Sponge Bob bit had me laughing!
Those set up gauges are tempting
Good to know that there are some good buys out there and they work without blowing a lot of cash
You have a 3D printer. Paint cones are now essentially free.
Feeler gauge same price at harbor freight
2:32 Most importantly.....TEMU would help me keep my checking account square..... _cough......Woodpeckers.....cough_
36 degrees is used for making a pentagon shape.
I believe you tried something new in this video by using a meme or whatever you call it (lol). You nailed it, I laughed. Well done.
36 degrees is making miter cuts on molding laying flat
Does this channel do woodworking or just sell tools?
Great video. Haven't purchased anything from this company yet but now will at least check it out. Also thought the Sponge Bob reference was quite funny!
Thanks!
just started watching this one and the yellow pointed triangles for painting, do they leave a dent in the other side? Had some similar round ones from amazon with a silicon base and black inserts with a tiny point for the purpose of lowest contact with paint or sealer. They put tiny divots everywhere they touched the surface.
they can if the project is heavy enough
It was simple pine 1x4s for staining both sides and length was 3ft pcs
@@keithf5236Anything will dent pine. But I’ve had them dent maple too.
I think you'll find that 36 degrees is your standard stair angle.
I love temu! Bought so much . 99% of stuff was excellent!
I like your t-shirts.
36° maybe for 1/10 of a circle but i dont know.
nice clean review of good products, I have bought some of them already and used them.
Great video as always Matt love the smell the same made me laugh out loud the first time you said it. Will have to check out a few of these items.thanks for sharing as always
Thanks!
36 degrees is 10% of a circle.
No links, no list of products mention 😕
links are in the description of the video
Man, everything in my Temu ads is under $5. I didn't realize they sold anything for $30. LOL
So many little goodies!!! Stocking suffers people!!!
That's right, I'm talkin Christmas!!!
I do purchase from Temu, but I don't STORE any of my information on it. I will never download their APP.
Generally, you get what you pay for. Keep in mind that the products Temu sells are made by many different companies.
.
Please do the light shine test when eg showing if machinist square is flush
Isn't 36 one-tenth 360?
Yeah, some of these things are knock-offs, but if the big companies do not have a patent, shame on them. Cheap things can usually be designed just enough differently to get around patents anyway. I worked 30 years in corporate America and saw them get rich off employees' ideas who got a pat on the back and dinner for 2 at Outback. I do not feel sorry for them in the least.
2023: “dot journal”
2024: “731 Bullet Journaling Tips and Tricks”
😂 awesome idea.
Thanks Matt all these are good to know and a fair comment. Actually I purchased the Kreg Gauges that I purchase when you first illustrated them and their one of the most used tools in my shop. God bless and peace be with yo and your family!
I got the same kinda wrench tray at harbor freight pretty cheap
Temu is not making money off of their tools but off of data collection. Sadly they pay off TH-camrs to promote them and get more and more app downloads.
@@shaker3459if that is really how you feel, then why in the world are you watching him?
He was making plenty of DIY woodworking videos and building things. Seems he is passed that and makes more by promoting products. Can't knock the grind right? I don't see the problem.
Thanks Morpheus
This man is feeding his family and having a good time. Don't be hating on him just cuz he slipped into carpenters jackpot job. You keep rollin 731
Plenty of us appreciate ya🤝🏻😊
Actin like Amazon doesn't do the same. They all do it.
Everything can be "super cheap" when made with slave labour.
