Learning UV painting was a huge step for me. You can also export UVs as a texture and create your texture in external editor like photoshop by painting over them.
hello guy I just wanted to import my finished model into roblox studio but it is semi-transparent and it has no color and the same in unity could you help?
Hmm, did you do anything different than the tutorial? I’ve imported this model before into Unity and didn’t have that issue. It’s likely an issue with your material. I would double check any transparency settings or just remake ur material and reassign it
hello can i ask why is the uv color not applying to layout and modelling section in 3D model in blender I followed the tutorial but that happens any suggestions?
Maybe you don’t have the correct viewport enabled. In the top right, u can choose the material viewport. Did you make sure to choose to render the material? If that doesn’t fix it, go to shading and make sure your material is set when you click on each object
I'm just learning blender and I've learnt so much with just this video. Thanks for this great tutorial!
i came here for the floating islands, learned UV painting in the process, great video!

Fantastic! How about some surface terrain and additional downward spikes?

Do you see the materials inside the fbx model? You will need to link the albedo texture to the same gradient texture used in this tutorial
cant find the addons😑
What blender version are you using?
@@spaderdabomb 4.2
