    As a pro installer, I can tell you routing the wires through the rubber wire guard in the door jamb is not easy but is possible. You can take it to a pro installation place and have them do it for you. It will look much cleaner, last longer, and potentially save the life of the radio. If that cable gets cut in the hinges and grounds out, it could damage the head unit. FYI.

      its not even that hard if the grommet is open on both ends - just use a big fuckoff wiring needle. Only car this doesnt work on ive found so far is my jag XKR - it uses some wacky hard interconnect in the door jamb, nothing to thread through, and I was unwilling to drill a hole through the connector like I got away with on my toyota Tundra cos it was so close to the conductors in the connector.

    I want to install the same system on my Saab 93 convertible. Some questions:
    - did you buy the 10" or the 9"? Can't figure it out from the video and I also didn't find the answer in the comments.
    - The Teyes ISO for Saab you mention in the description, is that the 'For ISO' version on their website? It doesn't mention Saab and I just want to be sure.
    Keep up the good work!

    The side cameras might seem to be a problem if you have folding mirrors, but actually that shouldn't be an issue because they are always folded out when you're driving (I hope!). If the entire mirror assembly moves when you adjust it or if it's an old type of side mirror that is simply a metal frame for the mirror then you might have to look into other options or forgo 360 camera installation altogether.

    Sweet camera configuration. I'd love to upgrade my made for Lexus android head unit with a similar setup. But I'm struggling to find the sub output volume controls, previous android head units had the sub volume in the EQ screen. Being able to turn the sub off, tweak the oem speakers hi and mid, then dial the sub up until perfection is reached. It is an empowering experience

    Am I correct in understanding from T'eyes sight that they now offer the CC3 2K with the 360 option. You make the statement that with the alteration you have done to the fascia bezel virtually any of the T'eyes units would work. Does that mean any of the T'eyes cc3 2K 10.2" would work for me? Which specific unit would you most recommend? I would like the biggest and best unit that will work in the Saab. I really appreciate your great install videos and your expertise in Saabs is really reassuring and encouraging. T'eyes should hire you as their top marketing representative! A list of the correct canbus set-up for the T'eyes would really help me. Thanks again for all you do!

    Excellent. If I can sort out a few things, I'll be installing this T'EYES unit in my 2007 9-3 Aero manual. I won't be going for the 360 camera view. A reverse camera is good enough for me. A few questions, if I may.
    1) The "Saab kit you need is" link on ebay says that it doesn't post to Australia. I can probably get one of my brothers in the UK to get it for me, but do you have any other suggestions?
    2) Do any of those kits include the amplifier bypass/suppressor thing you've referred to in other videos? How do I know if I need one?
    2) My car's standard external microphone works very well when I connect a mobile phone to the factory system via built-in bluetooth. Is there any way of using that microphone or do I need to get an new exterior microphone?
    3) What do I lose by upgrading to a modern head unit? e.g. warning bongs.

    Love this!! 1) Is the installation and harness the same for 2010 9-3 Aero with built-in GPS navigation? 2) Do you think you can please post a full list of things I would need for this modification? (or even better sell me the whole kit.:)) Thank you

      Yes it's the same for cars with factory navigation. You'll find what you need in the video description, plus an easy install guide here th-cam.com/video/IjkJhUJt1Ug/w-d-xo.html

    Hi, very good informative video. I'm curious at to the internal ROM capacity of your Saab 93 T'eyes CC3 unit 32G, 64G or 128G?

      This is a 128gb, which I think is the only option for the 360 pack

    Hi Stuart, I agree with everyone else on the quality of the videos, they have been very informative. In fact, like others your video's have made me consider aftermarket androids as an update and also put me on to Teyes units. A couple of quick points:
    I need to have a recording dashcam (insurance requirement) and also DAB. So looking at the video you did for the dashcam it will take up a USB (I originally thought it would take 2 but you clarified in the comments it was one) and the DAB will take another, so am I right in assuming I will still have one USB available?
    Secondly, how then does the 360 camera system plug into the CC3 head unit?
    Many thanks for all your efforts to date.

    • @SaabUnleashed
      @SaabUnleashed  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the kind words David. The 360 system actually plugs into it's own socket on the Teyes CC3 - you won't lose your last USB port! So you actually will have 1 remaining USB port after you have installed DAB, Dashcam and 360 cams

      @@SaabUnleashed Hi Stuart, any kind words were merited, your videos have been inspirational to me (and from the comments, many others. Thanks for the reply, I was hoping that was the case.
      Just one final point on the 360 system, have you (or anyone else reading) looked into the availability or spare parts if any of the cameras etc. get damaged?

    I like the Teyes 360 camera and screen layout over all. But, how is the overall quality of their build? With the Honda I noticed their unit is all plastic, as where Xtrons has metal or aluminum heat sinks. Xtrons uses pretty decent amplifiers AB class. Is there an android radio for a 2005 accord which has it all?

    • @SaabUnleashed
      @SaabUnleashed  ปีที่แล้ว

      Teyes is one of the highest possible quality Android head units and Xtrons can't really be compared

    Does the 360 cam also provide the functionality of the dash cam? Recording and crash detection and all? I cant figure out if the dash cam is a software feature or a hardware feature in the dashcam itself. Im trying to plan my system out. Thanks for.your videos, theyve been very helpful.

      No, the dash cam is seperate, and comes with its own features, collision detection, Lane departure warnings ect

      They need to be positioned looking away from the far. They're just pushed in, so you can correct any time
