I appreciate this very honest review of this latest Greeny edition. While I really like the look of the $ 20,000 version more , I can't justify spending nearly 7X what you paid for the guitar you have. I'm sure they both sound the same and probably play the same so spending another $ 16,000-17,000 dollars for the relic finish work kinda seems insane , even if the work involved in doing that type of finish is very labor intensive. A $20,000 price tag really shuts out about 98 percent of the guitar buying public.
That's a beautiful guitar, the price differences between the 3 guitars are so significant, what are the upgrades that justify such a huge fluctuation? also, are the "upgrades" worth it?
Basically the $50k included a bunch of extras, was extremely limited and you got to go to an event with Cesar Gueikian (Gibson) and Kirk Hammett. It was relic’d to exactly mimic every ding and scratch the original had. The $20k was the same but without the extras and no KH/CG meetup. None of that mattered to me, plus how would I afford all that anyway if I did? This worked just fine, especially since I hate relic’d guitars, lol.
@@danthedem Got it, for that kind of price I would rather have a brand new looking guitar without the dings and scratches. It's like going to maybe a Ferrari dealer and ask them to replicate a famous person's car that got into an accident and pay 10x's more than the regular price than a pristine brand new one. Well, I guess it's to each their own when it comes down to what value an individual places on an item.
I got one and it needs a lot of work.. this should have come with a bone nut. I am so disappointed for the price. Still sanding the bulbous neck.. what a mess and it had a huge buige at the neck top where the neck connects to the body.. I would have to say this is hype

@@hwnfrd plus with the satin finish you’ll relic it naturally on your own in due time, so might as well go with the $3k one, not the $20k.
Just ordered one , cool review, subbed. Cheers from New Zealand
Welcome aboard! Thanks!
