I have a John Deere 4110 diesel tractor that had a stock mechanical cam type fuel pump. Went through 2 of them in a couple of months. the replacement cost over $115 dollars. Got tired of that and replaced it with a $15 12-volt fuel pump like yours and have had no problems in the 7 or 8 years since. Good job on fixing yours!
@matthewteuton844 no it has not. I have 15 hrs on it without issue. It's the lowest volume pump I could find. 2.5-4 psi. If you find a lower one that might be better.
@@mikedesilets3324 I have the same motor on my Landhero LDH T460, and I recently performed the same fuel pump conversion as you, using the same pump. However, I’m running into an issue where the engine is over-fueled and won’t start or run properly. I was wondering if you encountered a similar issue during your conversion and if you could offer any pointers or solutions to address the over-fueling problem. I’ve double-checked a few things, like the fuel pressure, but I’m still struggling to get it running. Any advice or troubleshooting tips you could share would be greatly appreciated!
@rrevereii No over fueling. I now have 20 hours on it. I have a prefilled and a post filter. The pump is mounted low and is a 2.5-4 psi. Electric Fuel Pump 12v Electric Transfer Universal Low Pressure Gas Diesel Fuel Pump 2.5-4psi HEP-02A a.co/d/9YoRCrf
@@rrevereii I have read that some saying the stock system is fine but needs bigger jets. They didn't give the details, so I asked for sources and videos.
@@Tahir-cu1no I haven't tried to find anything yet. Others have replaced a few things. It appears the drive motors and pumps are available from China or through a US distributor like KYMRON. Motor can be swapped with Harbor Freight Predator. Pivot bushings, idler bearings, ram rebuild kits???? That may be challenging.
@@mikedesilets3324 Up here in Canuckistan most of that hydraulic stuff can be had through Princess Auto (Canada's Harbor Freight). Heck I can even get a genuine Honda GX620 that's supposedly a near drop in for the RATO in those (own an AGT LRT23).
@HeavyDemir lol. Mocking my pain instead of feeling it. That was only temporarily accurate during this fueling diagnosis phase. Turned out the stock filter would plug up after a bit of agitation. It's all working great now, including the shutoff.

@@patrickwong2823 That's great to know. Thanks for sharing your experience. I now have 30+ hours run time without issues.
Has it over fueled since install?

Where do you buy parts for it.
