I would not weld those chain hooks to the arms - keep them on the bucket. On the arms would prevent you from dumping the bucket - and from what I have seen, the Hydraulics of the bucket might tear those hooks off the arms.
I was wondering if welding or bolting a vertical rod on either side of the bucket would be a good idea Jerry, these would allow you to carry small amounts of short timber or logs horizontally across the bucket? Just a thought my friend!
I did not hear you say what size socket you used to remove them China grease fittings. I am going to change mine out and my 8mm feels loose, my 5/16 feels just as loose and my 7mm is too small. I removed one with my 8mm anyway just to look at the threads. Another video stated 6mm threads and it seems so. I will buy my kit but to all that wonder, my NEW mini skid steer had NO GREASE in that hole, so DON"T use until you grease it up or confirm it has grease in them areas! BTW, I bought the TYPHON STOMP ( now TONKA STOMP lol) and it looks just like yours. I ALSO removed ALL of them tacky stickers..... I bet in China, they go to meetings and school with name tags and notes all over their clothing LOL!!!!! Thanks for the great video!! MY guess is that for the difference in Zerrk types is for clearance reasons when moving the arms but I saw no clearance issues. ALSO, where did you find that mounting plate?
The grease fittings are 8mm and 10mm and I replaced 6 total ( 4 > 10mm and 2> 8mm) with extras left for the future. I'm replacing my cheap plastic joystick handles with automotive shift knobs I will notch the area for the adapters and JB Weld them in place and screw the knobs on so they are removable in the future. I'm also going to get the 9" tracks in the future. My tracks are 150 X 72 X 36 and I suspect yours are also because the ONLY difference between yours and MY TYPHON STOMP is those sides that you padded, I would like to buy and install. IF you have a link to finding them, please let me know. I love my skid steer!
He doesn't realize that the recess ones are so material fallen out of bucket don't break them off. Instead he insults intelligence that he (American) doesn't understand. So low iq.
Looks like a real back saver!
Just got same skid---having fun making addons--receiver hitch--and a push- pull blade..(extended control levers 1'' ).
