Should YOU run SOLO dungeons?

- I tried to create some transparency around soloing in wow hardcore classic, here are the results!

I love how many people have completely forgotten the entire point of video games is to just have fun and that means something different to everyone lol
Even if the dungeon gave 0 exp, 0 gear, and 0 money... if you just find the challenge of doing it (we are on HC after all, so to at least some extent we're all looking for a challenge right?) to be fun, then enjoy yourself.
Hell, your videos have inspired to me give this sort of thing a try myself just because I LOVE running dungeons, but I have seen far too many times that I can't trust out of 4 randos that not a single one will wipe us.

I also do solo dungeons with my hunter. It's even more impressive to see a druid doing it. Great work!
Personally, I don't think about whether it's profitable or not, it's just a lot of fun!
Whats the strategy on your hunter :)? How ofted do you use mend pet/heal pet?

Since I saw your videos I went and tried to solo deadmines and SFK on my pally to see how i'd do; at 32 I can solo deadmines up to the boat where it starts getting hard, and SFK I can only get to the tormented officers before I start getting scared.
I will say, soloing through deadmines up to the boat my first time, I made about 5 gold between the loot, wool, and greens I put on the AH. I go through and clear the trash, not too bad as a pally with consecrate, but it's a decent and relatively safe money maker for the mid-30s
I also really want to try paladin next! How are you skilled, I assume holy because of consecrate?
@AkinupGaming yeah I just went straight down the holy tree, I think optimally you'd follow the meta and go down holy till consecrate, then down ret to seal of command, but I'm just all inning holy since I plan to heal in dungeons mostly. I also like holy for divine favor, which isn't as good as the druid omen of clarity free heals, but ends up in a free holy light crit that refunds 100% of mana every 2 minutes.

Hey! Your videos are really great.
Here are some suggestions to increase the quality even further: your headset is a little bit distorted, I would suggest either turning down the input volume (and you can then increase the volume in the edit) or getting a "pop shield" for your microphone.
The background music is a bit distracting - some WoW themed music would fit better in my opinion, but this is personal preference.
Other than that, I like your style and content. Keep it up!

I use UnitFramesImproved but I will try now Easy Frames, I saw a comment mentioning them, and they also look good!

I'm interested in seeing how you deal with Arugal, and in BFD - Aku'mai. I might be mis-remembering but his mind control is a charm but it also polymorphs you, so not sure how it interacts with shapeshifting. On my hunter I was able to solo him with my pet being #2 threat since he never MCs his primary target unless it is the only target. I supposed there is a cheesey way to deal with him using moonfire and a certain room, that will be a long fight if so! Aku'mai isn't a beast so it cannot be hibernated, so hopefully you get to BFD! I just finished solo library on my 37 hunter and I have a newfound hatred towards the chaplain and monk combo.

Oh why were they so bad? Anything I should keep in mind for library?
Main thing of note for the library is monk/chaplain combinations. Monks have a thrash move and also queue up attacks if away from them (can deliver 6 hits at once this way) along with a kick and the chaplains have a renew that is somewhere around 150hp per 3 and they shield. There is a group of two monks and a chaplain which can be skipped with stealth, but the next group is close to them so skipping is risky.
Also the all-favorite scarlet monastery business: 30 minute spawn timer for mobs.
Other than that, arcanist doan is fairly easy fight due to the bookshelves., but of course its a library so the librarian might silence you 🤣
Houndmaster is definitely a rougher fight. I had to kite him for around 5 minutes to kill him. I won't spoil the spot, but there is a certain spot you can stand where only he can hit you, and his dogs evade, for a melee fighter :) @@AkinupGaming

any of the pillars in the room prior to the houndmaster. Takes some wiggling but you can actually jump on top of those pillars, This means as long as you have the houndmaster at the pillar before getting to the evade spot the dogs will evade but he won't. Its quite tricky.
I'm not 100% on how bosses interact with different speeds of characters, but he seemed to run at 30 or 33% speed increase; same as his dogs. @@AkinupGaming

How often can you do dungeons in WoW HC?
i dont think you really need a reason to do this. but it is really interresting to know how efficient this is :)
I mean the first dungeons you did weren't even that bad exp/hour wise. It's definetely worth considering instead of going default for grinding. Maybe add a second druid/rogue to be safe/to sneak past certain packs. Also very cool to look at.
edit : yeah this is definitely worth it, congratulation you might be the reason for the devs to nerf things in the future.
Why should they? not every class can do it.
hahahah I also don't think they would nerf it, as it's also super risky ^^ But yeah I love that there are alternatives to just normal questing, at least for some classes :)
fyi if u drop down to the village below shadowfang keep and its daytime u can just sell and repair in the smithy below.

Actually not that much, at least for early dungeons you don't need good gear, just the right tactics to kite the bosses :)

If there is a "safe spot" in WC you could do shenanigans with voidwalker and avoid the first trash.
Why climb a mountain? Because it's there.
Because playing with randoms can get you killed... Simple answer, no?

Solo doesn't seem as good as duo dungeons with a healer.
i wonder how quick a rogue/druid combo could do these, although u do hit the daily cap faster
100% agree, I would also love to play a duo run on the side! I would actually love to try double shaman! :D
