Having been in his situation, I can assure you that wanting to stay in the house, because you've nowhere else to go is not trying to "to get one over on... family". If it's the only haven you have, being evicted because you can't afford to pay off your siblings is terrifying. That being said, I think JJ is right to suspect this guy has mental issues.
Rather hilariously he was technically suing himself as well as his siblings as he also had to pay 25% of the legal fees the executor incurred in evicting him! Where do they find these people???

I think what happened was that a lot of the money that he WOULD HAVE received from the estate was eaten up in attorney's fees from the sister having to go to court. So now he probably doesn't have much money left and decided to sue his former attorney for more.

90 days would have turned into 9 months and then 1 year. He had no plans to move out. My husband's family had a similar situation with a brother like the plaintiff.

Hey, I am a male over 60, and I would never be the sort of A h*le this plaintiff is. It is my observation about people of BOTH sexes, that after age 50 we see their true colors. Some become wonderful and a delight to know, and others become bitter, resentful, petty, and... just like this guy. I am working on being of the wonderful variety.
