      Poor baby girl Sterling.
      The mother could have gotten the abortion without the grandmother’s knowledge. Once she decided to have that baby, she is responsible for it no matter what extended family does. I was a single mom with two children when I decided to go to college. my parents were deceased so I had to pay for childcare. I worked two and three part time jobs, got Medicaid for their health benefits and studied like crazy. I had no time for partying because it didn’t align with my goals of providing a better life for my children and myself. Girl friend need to get her act together. No matter what the grandmother said before the baby got here, the responsibility was always the mother’s. I feel sad for that child.@@TarrahGrace-by4cl

    1. I believe she wanted to abort the baby and grandma convinced her not to, that she would take care of the child.
    2. I think Grandma didn't realize that even after having the kid, the girl would just disappear and not want to be a mother.
    3. I think that grandma realized she was in over her head financially and realized she needed help AND couldn't get help through programs and such since she isn't the parent.
    4. If she doesn't want to support her kid, she could easily sign over her child to the grandma then grandma could get some assistance.
    5. I believe if the son was paying child support she would've said it to the judge, especially when the judge mentioned she was going to order the dad to pay it.
    6. Dad should've sent money, he's collecting extra benefits for having a kid.
    7. This whole situation is crazy and I kept asking myself, "What did I just watch" .....so sad. Glad Sterling has Grandma in her corner.

I blame the mom for not having a written agreement of her conditions with the grandma before proceeding with the pregnancy

    I know a lot of women who went to school full time, who worked full time, and who are still able to raise their own children. They did have support from their families, letting them live at home, babysitting while they are in classes and while working along with other kinds of support. I can’t stand these people talking about their children as mistakes, saying they didn’t want them.

  • @esmeguerra6546
    @esmeguerra6546 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +8

    If she didn’t want the kid initially and expect the grandma to raise the kid. She should sign custody over them. That simple. But to have grandma have to raise the child like her own. She should at least have the rights of a parent. Raising the kid then to have the kid taken away when mom is done with school seems so unfair. Because the other truth is when the mom takes the child she prob won’t let her see her grandchild.

    "Grandmother" needs to file for custody and Sterling never needs to see that monster again. I realize the grandma probably didn't plan on filing for custody and raising another child, but she obviously loves that little girl and is just asking for some help. The surrogate who carried the baby for 9 months doesn't give a rat's patootie about her, she doesn't even come to visit when she's in town.
    As others have said, the father should also be sending money home and her health care should be covered.

They also receive financial benefits. Yes, mom needs to step up and take care of her baby; so does the father.

    Let's back up a bit. Tanner can send money too, isn't it? He's working. The lady, didn't want a child but let herself get pregnant? That was the first decision... If you don't want a child then you make sure you don't get pregnant and no. one would have said they wanted a grandchild. There would have been nothing to talk about. However, the child is here, step up and be the mum, at least you have grandma's support.
