    YES! You read my mind. I'm looking to do this same build on a L405 (shopping for my specimen now). So glad you're charting the course for me. I bought the lift rods from you for my LR3 and they work perfectly. I recently learned some people just use the GAP tool to re-calibrate the suspension to the new height they want. If you haven't already, could you share your thoughts on the benefits of using the lift rods vs. height calibration in the GAP tool? Obviously you prefer the rods 'cause that's what you chose. Just looking to understand why they're a better choice. Thanks and keep the 405 content coming. I'm all in!

    Off roading a 2013 L405 in AZ desert and mountains, running stock now (w/ Terra grappler all terrain) and always getting odd looks from the side by sides on the trails, haha. Received the 2” Rhino rods, wheels/tires needed now. Curious of your wheel part number and final solution fix. The stock wheel travel is ok but need the extra clearance coming up on large rock areas or steps. Wheeled an XJ in the same areas, 20 years ago and appreciate the L405 capability with comfort especially on washboard roads.

    How reliable are these range rover land rovers????

      Thank you for your deeply philosophical inquiry about the reliability of Range Rovers. Your style of questioning really does take one on a journey akin to contemplating the infinite expanse of the cosmos or delving into the profound depths of existence itself.
      To satiate your curiosity: Assessing the reliability of Range Rovers can be compared to pondering questions such as "How much money is too much?"-it's inherently subjective, yet generally, the consensus is the more, the merrier. Or, consider how boundless the sky appears; it's somewhat akin to reflecting on the acceptable limits of indulging in cake-purely metaphorical, of course. Ultimately, who wouldn't want their journey through life to be as delightful as possible?
      To put it simply, yes, Range Rovers are dependable.

    Does it actually lift higher at normal full height?

    • @Lucky8
      @Lucky8  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it dose. Every setting is higher.

    Do you have to jack up or remove wheels to install or can you set suspension height to off road 2 and install while wheels still on?

    • @Lucky8
      @Lucky8  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would not recommend doing that. You are adjusting the height sensor and the vehicle could lower at any time. Far better off being safe than being under a car that's trying to lower.

    Something I struggle with for my 2011 l322. If I take some cool rugged looking tires to my local tire store to install on the l322, I’m told reputable tire stores can’t install them because All-Terrain tires don’t have the necessary Speed Rating. How do you guys get around that?

    • @Lucky8
      @Lucky8  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's an odd question. I don't know why they won't put the tires on for you.

    How does it ride with the lift rods?

      @Lucky8  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really didn't notice much difference in the ride, quality In standard height

    Will 33 X 10.5 X 20 fit with a 2 inch lift?

      Sorry it will not. The next video in the series shows how we trim plastic bumper to fit the larger tires
