Hi, Tech as I am doing my packing and listening your video I am so happy because I am that person that sell in a flea market in the sun standing the whole day. I am Spanish too and I always ask them why they do not begin to sell online but like you said not everyone like to do Inventory, taking pictures or paying taxes or many them do not understand the language but for sure they are hard working people trying to feed their family like everyone. Thank you for taking the time to communicate with some words in Spanish. And telling people please pay the amount they are asking. I love your videos and do not miss one. Thank you for taking the time teaching this community. God bless you and your family
Yes she asked him if I spoke spanish, he said no, but I had to throw a couple words out there lol. Another connection made! I bought 80+ hats from him last week, another 40-50 this week!
Very appreciative of your content. Im a full time college student and I try to stop at the thrift store 2-3 times a week. These videos have helped immensely with my overall knowledge of the reselling business. Been making between $50-$100 profit per week. Certainly helps to cover gas and groceries while in school!
The part about building relationships, and asking if they have any more are such great points! You have mentioned this in the past, and I had business cards printed to hand out at yard/estate sales for people to contact me if they find more items like the items I purchased. Last week, I received two calls: one to have first dibs on a large vintage jewelry lot, and another on vintage estate items. It is so rewarding! Thank you.
I live 5minutes from there and never tend to really to see how easy it is to make money ! You inspire me to start an eBay account and start reselling !!
Ohhhh i love your flea market videos and how the vendors are happy to see you! They save you the best stuff, very cool. You're keeping me company while i work, thanks for all that you do, Tech! 🥰
I've been a full time seller since 2018. I've always been an everything seller, and most of 2023 I niched down to toys collectibles and shoes, I used to sell clothes, but stopped along time ago. I only get shoes from thrifts as the hard goods are lacking, so I'm getting back into clothes again, have a good system set up now so it's not as hard as before. Perks of having your own office instead of trying to take pictures on a kitchen table lol
Love being a part of the community. I love seeing the flea market through your eyes. You zone in on things immediately before you even get close. That TMNT hat the vendor was wearing- no off the back? Sheesh...thanks Tech!
Alright, Tech, I’m sold. I watched most of your earlier videos and took note of what you were buying. I stopped into a local Goodwill and found, among other decent things, a red Polo Sport flag cap and a Brunello Cucinelli short sleeve knit shirt - both for $0.99 on weekly markdown. I listed the cap today for $39.95 plus shipping. Sold it in 45 minutes for full asking. Are you kidding me?!?! I’ll list the Brunello tomorrow. Thanks for your videos. Love your attitude and content. I’m seriously considering becoming a subscriber. 🤛

Hey Tech, I’m an Aussie reseller living in a small town with only 3 thrift stores. I wish our fleets markets were the same as over there. I am starting to make some connections with the thrift store workers which is great. I started my reselling career by selling my unwanted items but with your videos & some Aussie reseller videos I’m starting to see this as more of a career than a side hustle thank you
Awesome! We have a great seller in the group who lives in the middle of Australia and has found ways to get tons of stock to sell. I'm going to have her on the podcast coming up!

I will just head over to the next state if I have to? I do it's just a bit harder with a sickly dog and the kids grown and gone. I'm going to hit some fleamarkets this summer. And look around more where i sell at one and have for 19 yrs. Thanks for sharing!
@technsports interesting! Yes, our local goodwill outlet is calling it Best bins! You can pay $3 extra an hour to be first to the bins! And shop first kinda? While others wait to get to shop for an hour. It's just that they have gotten so good at taking the meat off the bone. It's a dying bins kinda. It's really tough to get good items. Still here or there they miss something.

Great content as always. Question if you get a chance. When using USPS Ground Advantage on Ebay what dimensions are supposed to be used when using poly mailers? Pirate ship asks for item BEFORE putting anything in. Ebay shipping asks for L x W x H. Are you supposed to measure every single poly when shipping on ebay? I noticed the difference in height does change price. I used 12x9 polys and ship only jeans but they do change in size once packed. TIA
Im new to following your videos. Im in East Central Florida. We are going to be down that way next month. I'm hitting the bins down there. Is this the only Fleamarket in your area that sells Lilly and Lululemon? I would like to pick some up. TIA
How do you wash a bunch of hats? Do you need to use a hat protector for each hat to keep the shape? That will take a long time to wash all the hats you bought.
@@technsports I haven’t. It just seems so unbelievable to me that there’s so many good items that bring in such good profit that people are willing to sell for so little.
Flea Markets the vendors have to pay for the tables and make money they cannot afford to be retail in the long run. Their clientele dictates what they must do and that's people looking for deals and an even bigger hitting group resellers. Granted certain vendors can pick to pursue a different clientele the collectors. Know your customer and know your market both will determine what the sweet spot is. Making some of the money all the time. Flea markets and garage sales traditionally are supposed to be cheap.
Typically if seeking top dollar you need a good customer pool and flea markets just don't have that luxury. At the end of the day they are there to sell not hold and store. They can do whatever they want with prices but certain prices will guarantee they are taking it home with them like the hat lady in the video who changed her tune on the hat prices
To really see the flip side on this look at Tech's sold comps if the seller up charges say $10-15 a hat well instead of coming in and spending $150 with the vendor suddenly you are limited to hats with sold comps that are $50 or higher.
Where do they get it all from? There are No flea markets in PA that have that much legit merchandise, also nothing in good will stores but target brand crap. You thrifting youtubers obviously live in special areas.
