Thank you so much tech for having respect for the establishment. Here in LA they don’t allow you to film, but when I’m there and I see people doing it, it’s such a huge annoyance and most don’t even buy. I have actually seen resellers filming, buy, and then return it all the next day.

We've seen a million people flip racks on TH-cam we don't need to see a million and one. If I find something crazy I'll show it inside but if it's bread and butter I'll just get to the point, save time & hit more stores in one video
@@technsports I have actually taken a 1 month break from the racks bc of your videos just to see if I can still be a 6 figure seller by sourcing flea markets only and I have found way better stuff! The racks are nice and curated but fleas are half the price and I did exactly what you said with getting good with the vendors, got my ass up at 4am and was there at 6am on Saturday and scooped up a whole wagon full clothing brand new with tags from the vendor I thought would be best for my business for $80. I bought 5 Peter millar brand new with tags that retailed for $985 for $1 each in a dollar pile. I celebrated with a beer after lol. Already made $700 off of half of my finds. I say it every time, but you’re awesome!

It's awkward inside, there's so much music, you have to find a dark corner where nobody is or will be. People are looking at you crazy & you're trying to show tags & how much stuff will sell for and talk about the items. Better to just show the receipt and go outside. I can also show more items and hit more stores in the same video if I cut out the inside shenanigans.
If I find a crazy item I'll show that in store but regular stuff outside

Good brands like this are rarely at the goodwills and thrift stores around me in NJ! Once the racks come out of the back I go right to it and find some good stuff sometimes but the normal racks are so picked over by other resellers usually

This video was so helpful! I am in the process of changing my mindset. First thing I learned off the bat...is how can I turn this wait into profit. I also learned that I need to speed up lol. I used to think it was not okay to walk out with a few items, now I think it is great because it means I stuck to my ASP and STR goals. Lastly, I love this format! I always round up, I also donate 10% of my sales to various organizations like veterans, pediatric cancer research, outbound and numerous animal shelters. It’s the least I can do to give back to those in need. Just grateful and fortunate for everyday and it feels good to give back some positivity.

@@technsports I am honestly so far out of the game because I don’t even live in the states anymore do I’m going to have to really acclimate myself again before I get heavily into reselling. I have not been in a Costco in about four years.😳
In our Goodwill district, one of the managers told me that each store had a $20K/month quota of goodwill online items they had to meet.
I don’t know if that’s true or not but I strongly suspect it is. I do know I’ve seen the GW picker doing their thing at one of our stores.

PS - I can't believe the hotel wanted $35 to check in early, that's ridiculous. Is that just here or do they do that on the east coast too? Wouldn't be surprised if they just do it here.
First hotel I've been to out of probably 150+ nights at hotels in the last year that asked for a fee. No thank you.

I felt like you today, Tech! Lol had to take the husband to work at 2pm (we only have one car) and loaded the two kiddos and hit the goodwills. They were 30mins away and then 15-20min apart from each other. I had to go to 3. Finished at 8pm and got 42 really good items! Kids were troopers. Then we had to go get my husband. But! I don’t have to source again until Thursday 😄

Eddie Bauer can be difficult to sell, but if you see I got them for 99 cents so I can price cheaper to try to force the sale & I got cashmere and good materials so that'll help too. But EB can be saturated

I'd just hit Family Thrift every day. I've been there about 4 times in the last 10 years and every time crushed there. One time I found a bunch of champion basketball jerseys for $4. That was about 8 years ago
