According to some official material, you see her eyes are red because she's subtly using her powers. Having a bunny that can screw with your brain by emitting and bending waves as she likes it is creepy because she can make your perception all screwed up, or could even fry your brain if she desired.

Dakota Salyer It's a reference to the Namazu, a giant Catfish in Japanese Mythology that can cause earthquakes which ties in with Tenshi able to manipulate the ground via keystones. The catfish also references the Catfish Boss in Hisoutensoku.

Skylia Meroetta it's been solved it was tied to the occult orbs that sumireko made. The lunar occult orb actually caused the ovcult orbs to go crazy. It wasn't supposed to be there. the effects are still lingering though. At least I think that's what was being said about the plot of AoCF in the touhou wiki
From what I can tell, the Urban Legend incident, as a whole, hasn't been resolved and is just an ongoing incident. Nobody really seems to know how to "fix" it so it just keeps carrying on.

Kasen is likely a reference to her missing arm
Reisen, Mamizou, Kokoro and Nitori are pretty self explanatory
Koishi may be a reference to Orin or just cats being chaotic assholes like Koishi
Doremy is a reference to tapirs being dream eaters
Shion and joon may be a reference to the joke of an empty wallet release moths when opened
Ichirin is a reference to son wukon
Moukou is a reference to one of kaguya's requests
Sakuna is probably a joke about inchlings being at the bottom of the food chain

Zumireko is a reference to occult club stuff

Bad news is Remi's not in the newest fighting game
Good news is her sister is finally playable for the first time and is the only character who defeats the main antagonist of the current fighting game

Mokou-mamizou: starts with mamizou running with her tail on fire , and ends with mokou hopping out mamizou’s tail , laughing( mokou master) or mamizou breath heavily(mamizou master)
