Great video! Personally, I use the Samsung convertible wireless charger to charge my phone. Bonus tip: It fits great into an Ikea Linnmon table. If you cut the table in half and smush in the cardboard on the inside, the charger slips in with perfect tolerance. Then, you can run a cable out and charge your phone through the tabletop. Pretty cool!
Own a Note 8 and a black Samsung Fast Wireless Charger (puck style) which CPW gave me free with the phone - massively convenient, it just sits on my bedside table and I bang my phone on it when I go to bed, and wake up with 100% battery. There's no messing around with chargers - I think it will take off if people realise how convenient it is

I got my wireless charger at ichargers.co and its awesome. It charger very fast my phone is full in 30-45 minutes. Design is awesome and you can use it anywhere. They have awesome products.

You should also mention ChoeTech. They make a 10w charger. The real benefit is that it has 3 coils inside so no need to Futz around trying to find the sweet spot. I have 2 and absolutely love them.

One thing to note about the Samsung Convertible Wireless charger is that it comes with the Samsung Quick Charger 2.0 plug and USB-C cable where other wireless chargers you have to supply your own. Maybe this makes the high Samsung price a little easier to take for some.

I use a Choetech wireless charging pad that's pretty small. It has rubber strips on each end so your phone doesn't slide off and a pretty dim LED that doesn't light up the room at night. It's a great fast charger for $20.
Small hack but can be expensive The iPhone 7 for example doesn’t support Qi charging but mophie does make a juice pack that allows you to charge the case wirelessly. I’ve been using a Samsung Qi charge base and going through my mophiecase to charge the phone.
My personal wireless charger is a black web one from Walmart... Never had a problem with it and it'll charge my phone from around 15 to 90 in about an hour and a half to 2 hours. Not as fast as my quick charge 3.0 wall plug but way more convenient.
I use the pasonomi wooden fast charger with an iPhone 8 Plus. Even with the official leather case on, it charges incredibly fast and doesn’t require pinpoint precision when putting it on the charger. Would definitely recommend!

How about car chargers? I've been using Nillkin magnetic car charger for a while now and it works great, considering the ease of attaching/detaching while keeping it visible and charging when driving.
The omnicharge is probably the best battery pack one can get, also has wireless charging and a power outlet. Not sure if it's 5w or 10w with wireless though
Correct me if i’m wrong but i’m pretty sure only the wireless chargers on the apple website can deliver the maximum 7.5 watts, third party wireless chargers are software limited to 5w
gary rees I put a little piece of black electrical tape on my led, I had the same problem. Unless you have the flat samsung charger that has the led the whole way around the circle pad

Definitely the Samsung "fast" charge charger is my favorite, I use both a S8+ and OP3T my 3T obviously chargers a lot faster but not having to plug in my S8+ is actually very nice one less cable in the bedroom.

I would suggest to check out XVIDA Precision Magnetic wireless chargers. The aluminium desk stand and car chargers are great. It isn’t cheap but I don’t have to think about alignment of the transmitter and receiver.
I have one Samsung convertible charge pad, I want another, but the price is quite steep if I pay 180 for just 2, so I'm waiting for Black Friday to try and get a second. The fact I'm getting a second should say it all to, works great, fits in with my furniture too

Great video as always... but I still don't get the appeal of wireless charging. It's just too slow, and you can't really use the phone properly whilst it's charging. I'll stick with my 24W wired charger.
That's weird...I'm not seeing the Kyocera Duraforce Pro on this list of wireless charging phones. Do they have different standards of wireless charging depending on which carrier they are sold from? I know Phonescoop's review of the Verizon Wireless version (the one with the sapphire display and 3 gigs of RAM) has Qi, just like the Kyocera Brigadier before it. Anyways, good overview on this category as always. Thanks to your objectivity, I didn't know that Palm made their first wireless charging phone. I thought Nokia, if not Kyocera, was the first.

While I like the idea of wireless charging, I hate the reality of all the heat these pads/stands put off while charging. I actually had a thin clear silicone case almost fuse to my G6 while using a simple 5 watt variety Qi flat charger...simply too much heat for slower charge times IMHO. I do like Samsung's idea to use a fan to cool things down, though, so at least there's hope for this. Great video, as always!
My issues with wireless charging pads are that some of them (at least the one's I used so far) are either too noisy (when I try to sleep) or too bright because of the LED built in. I'm looking for a pad which can charge multiply phones at once without causing damage to my phone or noise or flashing out my whole room.

But I like the slight reassurance of a more familiar brand like Mophie, and returns on Amazon have started becoming a pain.

Does anyone still remember the ufo like Qi charger from Microsoft/Nokia a few years back in the Lumia days? Well I still have the charger, as well as a Lumia 830, but it's golden contact points for qi charging snapped off, so now it's serving a Galaxy S9+ for overnight charging.

I like my Sony battery pack that has qi but it's not fast charge but charges quicker then a 2.1A wall plug. As for mobile, I wish there was a car dock stand that would wirelessly charge and maybe nfc tag in it to let your phone it's in the car for car based modes
I'd love to see wireless charging stations incorporated into the table voice assistant devices. Seems like an elegant way to mix the two. Maybe that's in the works for 2018.

I've used the Tylt for years. Since I only wirelessly charge when I don't plan on using my phone for a while, the 5watts does just fine.
