GPS tracker was the best 30.00 I have spent! I have an older river boat that isn't high value, but nonetheless it's mine. I had some lowlife pos steal it right from my driveway earlier this week. I actually forgot about the tracker as I was just in a rage about it at first. I pulled up the app and found it covered with a blue tarp in someones yard 22 miles away. My wife being the voice of reason said to call the Sheriff instead of handling it myself. I called and 3 cars show up. I hand the registration, my license, and and show the GPS tracker. The lowlife in the house is trying to say he purchased it and blah blah blah. I towed my boat back home and he got a ride to jail.
I had an AirTag on a new dump trailer that was stolen I didn’t t get a location ping for 4 weeks and found the tag on the side of the road near the dump I would not recommend the AirTag.
Apple AirTags make horrible trackers. This is because if the thief has an iPhone he will be notified that there is an AirTag moving with him and he will be given the option to disable it. Perhaps the worst possible choice is an apple AirTag for tracking expensive equipment.
This is true, but the thief would have to know where the air tag is hidden in order to find it and disable it. If the air tag is well hidden, and the thief sees a notification on his phone, but can’t find the AirTag, he might not want to steal the equipment anymore knowing that there is now potential of him being tracked. There’s definitely better trackers out there, but if you get clever with placement, it’s better than nothing. Just my two cents.
I agree 100%, of course there are better trackers but at what cost. 99 out of 100 times, these are used for me more because I lose track of my dumpsters sometimes and I use them to verify and double check my own internal tracking. As for getting a dumpster stolen, hopefully I will get the last ping before they take it off and can track where it was. Haven't had that happen yet, hopefully it wont.

The only problem about AirTags is you can only connect 16 of them. and I think that included air pods and such. I use Trak4. I buy some heavy duty magnets and put gorilla glue on them. you charge them with USB. they work good so far.
Which trak4? It seems like there are a bunch of them. We've heard good things about Apple airpods but we don't have Apple products to connect them with

which brand did you get?
What brand n where did you buy
Was it a air tag?
Just found your channel very entertaining so far thank you for the content giving me new ideas on business start ups
Much appreciated!
Purchased both!! Thanks for sharing!! 🙌
You’re definitely welcome!
So it can Be anywhere in the world and it has a cell service to tell you where it is?
Not necessarily, it uses other people’s iPhones to “ping off of” to give you a location.
Thank you!

Wow, that's rough! It's a bummer that the AirTag didn't work as expected in your situation. Thanks for letting us know about your experience.

Will you be posting anymore videos about the limo business ?
Never much of a demand but let me know if you have any specific questions or topics you’d like me to cover and I’ll do my best to answer them!

Only issue is apple phone has to be around
In the DFW metroplex this is not an issue.
I put an airtag on my dog 😂 just in case he ever gets out.
Bwahahaha my dog has one too!! Little airtag collar with one in it just in case!
I put an air tag on my wife’s car and her iPhone alerted her that someone was tracking her.
Yea that’s a feature Apple has so people know if they are being stalked kind of. It’s more of an inventory management than a real time gps I guess
Thanks I’ll give them a shot on my trailers 🤠
You cant find them though? How do you find the tag if theres no iPhone nearby
There’s almost always a tag nearby. If for some reason there’s not it still shows the last time the tag was pinged.
Man u could of said youre using apple air tag in the beginning of the video its no secret lol
😂😂 How would I get the watch hours then?!? 🤷🏻♂️
Right lol @@AmericanAFDumpsters
Tour on new yard bro

So the best GPS tracker you use is not a GPS tracker at all. Good one.
