    Dude, thank you! Only video I could find that showed how to fix without an expensive harness upgrade. I tapped into yellow and it totally worked. Thanks, man!

    Very Smart Lydell! Knowing how to navigate and do your own work saves alot of money and time. I have to do this in my 2003 gmc yukon denali, has the bose system and all, i need to figure out how to hook it so it still have steering wheel controls. Also bro which size unit did you install? Is it a 7 or 6.2?

    So wiring this way will the truck won't have the capacitive feature? Meaning when you turn the truck off the tunes do not stay on till you open the door?

    Can you link info for the Android unit you are installing. I looks like a Pumpkin or Volsmart.

    What is the part number for the install kit you used to do the install? Also, the Head unit you installed in the avalanche, was it a 6.2 " unit or a 7? Thanks in Advance.

      Kenneth Boose that means your factory amp is not working. Check your fuses

    • @MrPyrex19
      @MrPyrex19 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lydell Turner is that the fuses box on the driver side door,But when i put my old radio in it was good

    • @crashpad9476
      @crashpad9476 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kenneth Boose the wire harness you have may not the power wire built into it that turns in the factory amp. You will need to find the color of the power wire to the amp in the harness coming from the vehicle side. Then run a hot jumper wire to it. You can run a jumper from acc wire over to the factory amp wire.

    The additional harness isn't just to send a remote signal for amp to power. You do realize the Bose speakers are 1 ohm compared to 2 or 4 ohm standard non-Bose speakers? You need the adapter so you dont burn up the amp and speakers. Scratched up the customers dash and climate control when removing old unit as well. Very sloppy install on multiple levels. Wouldn't let you install anything on my vehicle even if you did it free.
