Thank you - we live in Boone and were fortunate to escape any serious damage, but we know how hard hit our neighbors are all around in the mountains here. Thank your for caring, and for going more than a few extra miles to help!
Praise the Lord you are ok. It was a beautiful drive from KY to NC. Even though there is devastation, NC IS still a beautiful State. Isaiah 61:3 CSB “to provide for those who mourn in Zion; to give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, festive oil instead of mourning, and splendid clothes instead of despair. And they will be called righteous trees, planted by the Lord to glorify him.”
OMGoodness!!! I live on the road that scared ya all and you stopped st the NC sign! I was in Minneapolis working when storm hit and i am heading home tomorrow! Thank you sooooo much for sharing!!!!
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors I figured that shortly after I left a comment lol. I’m in Johnson City Tennessee and I’m wondering if I can still get there without taking too many, if any, detours. We always go to Elizabethton Tn and then take 19E all the way to Elk River on 194, then NC 181 to 321 which leads right into Boone. Do you know if there are any bad or closed areas along my usual route?

Had I been In my Jeep it wouldn’t have bothered me, but a 25’ U-Haul loaded down made it very interesting. Glad we could help.
God Bless you and everyone helping! Did you hear anything about the condition of the university?
I have not. We literally just went to the church to drop off supplies.
I've been up in there and you see samaritan's person everywhere. And that's who they say to give your money to
Good God Apple Maps took y’all all the way around Daniel Boones Barn lol! Always use Google Maps…. Advise from a die hard Apple fan lol
We had google maps going as well. I think it was bc of so many road closures.
