I don't think most people around the world realise just how vast the devastation is in North Carolina.
If it wasn't that a I watch a few construction & excavation companies based in NC I wouldn't have a clue as there has been almost no News coverage of this on UK News outlets.
    Stay safe guys.

it's incredible how resilient our county is. after we were hit by hurricane florence (wilmington nc), chinook helicopters were landing in shopping plazas to bring water and supplies while we waited for the flooding to recede and the roads to reopen. only due to capitalism do we have the crews who can then come in and get to work with the tenacity like John and his team. The work they complete in a day would give any socialist or union worker a panic attack if it were their week's schedule. all the best to you across the pond!

We're both eagle scouts, I'm a vet, and we run GC business out here.
Looking for a route in and a place to go to work. We're running self sufficient, don't need pay, just a safe place to sleep.
Let me know where I can reach out to get some details.
    Thanks for everything your doing.

Insurance work is not COMPLETELY charity work. Charge a wage that's reasonable to set the customer up not back. Respect to the philanthropist among us but anyone doing work there needs to be in constant annoying contact with insurance companies to make them pay out

Accessibility is physically changing every day. There APPEAR to be increasingly city, county, state, Federal, and agency restrictions, registration, coordination and other impediments. This helps keep folks from injuring themselves, injuring others, maintaining a general standard of work, and the scamming carpet baggers from bilking people. It is both a good and a bad thing.

Most people’s insurance will cover it. It’s danger pay plus emergency pay. Your crew members can lose their lives doing these dangerous jobs. Plus getting machinery to these jobs is dangerous. Don’t like it do it yourself unfortunately. Then you have out of state crews spending tons of money just to get equipment there. $7,000 to get a tree off a house is actually a normal price believe it or not.

Cant help but feel a little clarity on this being a business and not voluntary wouldn't go a miss...
Considering the business needs to exist in order to help these people and the works being done with the insurance companies being the ones billed for it I think you're taking unnecessary hate purely because it's not 100% clear that's how this is working... the world of TH-cam now is full of people with millions of subscribers doing a little bit and their ad revenue covers any of their expenses and they get to pat themselves on the back and get social media merit points in interviews after flying a bottle of water in via their own helicopter...
But it's unfortunately the world you are living in on TH-cam... people will see you doing this, see a fundraiser and assume it's all being done for free
